இந்தக் காரியங்கள் நடந்தபின்பு, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை ஆபிராமுக்குத் தரிசனத்திலே உண்டாகி, அவர்; ஆபிராமே, நீ பயப்படாதே; நான் உனக்குக் கேடகமும், உனக்கு மகா பெரிய பலனுமாயிருக்கிறேன் என்றார்.
After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
கர்த்தர் என் சுதந்தரமும் என் பாத்திரத்தின் பங்குமானவர்; என் சுதந்தரத்தை தேவரீர் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர்.
The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
என் மாம்சமும் என் இருதயமும் மாண்டுபோகிறது; தேவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் என் இருதயத்தின் கன்மலையும் என் பங்குமாயிருக்கிறார்.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
கர்த்தர் என் பங்கு என்று என் ஆத்துமா சொல்லும்; ஆகையால் அவரிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கைகொண்டிருப்பேன்.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
