Psalm 52:1-9
பலவானே, பொல்லாப்பில் ஏன் பெருமைபாராட்டுகிறாய்? தேவனுடைய கிருபை எந்நாளுமுள்ளது.
Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
நீ கேடுகளைச் செய்ய எத்தனம்பண்ணுகிறாய், கபடுசெய்யும் உன் நாவு தீட்டப்பட்ட சவரகன் கத்தியைப்போல் இருக்கிறது.
The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
நன்மையைப்பார்க்கிலும் தீமையையும், யதார்த்தம் பேசுகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் பொய்யையும் விரும்புகிறாய். (சேலா.)
Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
கபடமுள்ள நாவே, சங்கரிக்கும் சகல வார்த்தைகளையும் நீ விரும்புகிறாய்.
Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
தேவன் உன்னை என்றென்றைக்கும் இராதபடி அழித்துப்போடுவார்; அவர் உன்னைப் பிடித்து, உன் வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து பிடுங்கி, நீ ஜீவனுள்ள தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு உன்னை நிர்மூலமாக்குவார். (சேலா.)
God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.

Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
நானோ தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில் பச்சையான ஒலிவமரத்தைப் போலிருக்கிறேன். தேவனுடைய கிருபையை என்றென்றைக்கும் நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
நீரே இதைச் செய்தீர் என்று உம்மை என்றென்றைக்கும் துதித்து உமது நாமத்திற்குக் காத்திருப்பேன்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு முன்பாக அது நலமாயிருக்கிறது.
I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
