ரூத் 4:13
போவாஸ் ரூத்தை விவாகம் பண்ணினான்; அவள் அவனுக்கு மனைவியானாள்; அவன் அவளிடத்தில் பிரவேசித்தபோது, அவள் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, ஒரு ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பெறக் கர்த்தர் அநுக்கிரகம்பண்ணினார்.

போவாஸ் ரூத்தைத் திருமணம் செய்தான்; அவள் அவனுக்கு மனைவியானாள்; அவன் அவளுடன் வாழ்ந்தபோது, அவள் கர்ப்பமடைந்து, ஒரு ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பெற்றெடுக்கக் கர்த்தர் அருள்செய்தார்.

இவ்வாறு போவாசு தாம் சொன்னபடியே ரூத்தைத் தம் வீட்டுக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்று, அவரை மணந்து கொண்டார். அவர்கள் கூடி வாழ்ந்த போது, அவர் கருத்தரிக்க ஆண்டவர் அருள்கூர்ந்தார். ரூத்து ஓர் ஆண் மகவைப் பெற்றெடுத்தார்.

his wife: לְאִשָּׁ֔ה ʾiššâ ee-SHA

unto אֵלֶ֑יהָ ʾēl ale
gave וַיִּתֵּ֨ן nātan na-TAHN
her, the Lord יְהוָ֥ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA

her conception, הֵֽרָי֖וֹן hērôn hay-RONE
