அவர் கடலின்மேல் நடக்கிறதை சீஷர்கள் கண்டு, ஆவேசம் என்று எண்ணி, சத்தமிட்டு அலறினார்கள்.

அவர் கடலின்மேல் நடக்கிறதை அவர்கள் பார்த்து, அவரை பிசாசு என்று நினைத்து, சத்தமிட்டு அலறினார்கள்.

இயேசுவின் சீஷர்கள் அவர் தண்ணீரின் மேல் நடந்து போய்க்கொண்டிருப்பதைக் கண்டனர். அவர்கள் அவரை ஒரு ஆவி என்று நினைத்தனர். அவர்கள் அச்சத்தோடு கூச்சலிட்டனர்.
