யோவான் 7:36
நீங்கள் என்னைத் தேடுவீர்கள், ஆனாலும் என்னைக் காணமாட்டீர்கள் என்றும், நான் இருக்கும் இடத்துக்கு நீங்கள் வரக்கூடாதென்றும், இவர் சொன்ன வார்த்தையின் கருத்து என்னவென்று தங்களுக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

‘நீங்கள் என்னைத் தேடுவீர்கள், ஆனால் உங்களால் என்னைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாது’ என்று கூறுகிறானே. ‘நான் இருக்கும் இடத்திற்கு உங்களால் வரமுடியாது’ என்றும் கூறுகிறானே, அதற்கு என்ன பொருள்?” என்று யூதர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் பேசிக்கொண்டனர்.
