இருளைப்பார்க்கிலும் வெளிச்சம் எவ்வளவு உத்தமமோ, அவ்வளவாய் மதியீனத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஞானம் உத்தமமென்று கண்டேன்.

இருளைவிட வெளிச்சம் எவ்வளவு உத்தமமோ, அவ்வளவாக மதியீனத்தைவிட ஞானம் உத்தமமென்று கண்டேன்.

இருட்டைவிட ஒளி சிறந்தது. அது போலவே முட்டாள்தனத்தைவிட ஞானம் சிறந்தது என்று கண்டேன்.

ஒளி இருளை விட மேலானதாய் இருப்பதுபோல, ஞானமும் மதிகேட்டைவிட மேலானதாய் இருக்கக் கண்டேன்.

as far as light הָא֖וֹר ʾôr ore
