Καὶ And kai ἀπεκρίθη answered, apokrinomai εἷς one heis ἐκ of ek τῶν the ho πρεσβυτέρων elders presbyteros λέγων saying legō μοι, unto me, moi Οὗτοι What are these houtos οἱ ho περιβεβλημένοι arrayed periballō τὰς ho στολὰς robes? stolē τὰς ho λευκὰς in white leukos τίνες which tis εἰσὶν are eisi καὶ and kai πόθεν whence they? pothen ἦλθον came erchomai

καὶ And kai εἴρηκα I said ereō αὐτῷ unto him, autos Κύριέ Sir, kyrios σὺ thou sy οἶδας knowest. eidō καὶ And kai εἶπέν he said epō μοι to me, moi Οὗτοί These houtos εἰσιν are eisi οἱ they which ho ἐρχόμενοι came erchomai ἐκ out ek τῆς ho θλίψεως tribulation, thlipsis τῆς ho μεγάλης of great megas καὶ and kai ἔπλυναν have washed plynō τὰς ho στολὰς robes, stolē αὐτῶν their autos καὶ and kai ἐλεύκαναν made white leukainō στολὰς stolē αὐτῶν them autos ἐν in en τῷ the ho αἵματι blood haima τοῦ the ho ἀρνίου of Lamb. arnion

διὰ Therefore dia τοῦτό touto εἰσιν are they eisi ἐνώπιον before enōpion τοῦ the ho θρόνου throne thronos τοῦ ho θεοῦ of God, theos καὶ and kai λατρεύουσιν serve latreuō αὐτῷ him autos ἡμέρας day hēmera καὶ and kai νυκτὸς night nyx ἐν in en τῷ ho ναῷ temple: naos αὐτοῦ his autos καὶ and kai ὁ he ho καθήμενος that sitteth kathēmai ἐπὶ on epi τοῦ the ho θρόνου throne thronos σκηνώσει shall dwell skēnoō ἐπ' among epi αὐτούς them. autos

οὐ no ou πεινάσουσιν They shall hunger peinaō ἔτι more, eti οὐδὲ neither oude διψήσουσιν thirst dipsaō ἔτι more; eti οὐδὲ neither oude μὴ any mē πέσῃ shall light piptō ἐπ' on epi αὐτοὺς them, autos ὁ the ho ἥλιος sun hēlios οὐδὲ nor oude πᾶν any pas καῦμα heat. kauma
