ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਿੱਛ ਤੋਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ।” ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ।”

੨ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ 4:17
ਔਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਕਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਾਂ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀ ਉਸ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨਣ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

੧ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 22:16
ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸੋਨੇ, ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਪਿੱਤਲ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਕਾਰੀਗਰੀ ’ਚ ਬੜੇ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਹਨ। ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਤਾਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਬੇਹਿਸਾਬ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਕਾਰਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੋਵੇ।”

ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੁਣ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ! ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹੇ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਰਹੇਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 18:16

ਅਸੀਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਚ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਏ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰੱਖ ਸੱਕੀਏ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਵਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਥੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਕੇ ਛੱਡਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨਾਲ ਭਲਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਭਲਾਈ ਦਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 63:7
ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਤਦ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇ, ਦਾਊਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ। ਤੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ।” ਤਾਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 11:1
ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੱਜਕੇ ਲੁਕ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, “ਪੰਛੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਉੱਡਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੋ।”
