କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କହିବା, ' ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ମନୁଷ୍ଯଠାରୁ ଆସିଥିଲା, ତବେେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ରାଗିଯିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖୁବ୍ ଡରୁଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ସବୁ ଲୋକ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଯୋହନ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଜଣେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା।
