5 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

6 நீ இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியாரினின்று லேவியரைப் பிரித்தெடுத்து, அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரிப்பாயாக. Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 அவர்களைச் சுத்திரிக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியதாவது: அவர்கள்மேல் சுத்திகரிக்கும் ஜலத்தைத் தெளிப்பாயாக; பின்பு அவர்கள் சர்வாங்க சவரம்பண்ணி தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தங்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்கக்கடவர்கள். And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 அப்பொழுது ஒரு காளையையும், அதற்கேற்ற எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்த மெல்லிய மாவாகிய போஜனபலியையும் கொண்டுவரக்கடவர்கள்; பாவநிவாரணபலியாக வேறொரு காளையையும் நீ வாங்கி, Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.

9 லேவியரை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்துக்குமுன் வரச்செய்து, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையார் எல்லாரையும் கூடிவரப்பண்ணுவாயாக. And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:

10 நீ லேவியரைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் வரப்பண்ணினபோது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் கைகளை லேவியர்மேல் வைக்கக்கடவர்கள். And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:

11 லேவியர் கர்த்தருக்குரிய பணிவிடை செய்யும்பொருட்டு, ஆரோன் அவர்களை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் காணிக்கையாகக் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அசைவாட்டப்படும் காணிக்கையாய் நிறுத்தக்கடவன். And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.

12 அதன்பின் லேவியர் தங்கள் கைகளைக் காளைகளுடைய தலையின்மேல் வைப்பார்களாக; பின்பு நீ லேவியருக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்பொருட்டு, கர்த்தருக்கு அவைகளில் ஒன்றைப் பாவநிவாரண பலியாகவும், மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகவும் செலுத்தி, And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 லேவியரை ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரனுக்கும் முன்பாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்களைக் கர்த்தருக்கு அசைவாட்டப்படும் காணிக்கையாக்கி, And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.

14 இப்படி நீ லேவியரை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து பிரித்தெடுக்கக்கடவாய்; லேவியர் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள். Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.

15 இப்படி அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரித்து, அவர்களை அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாக்கக்கடவாய்; அதன்பின்பு லேவியர் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் பணிவிடை செய்யப் பிரவேசிக்கக்கடவர்கள். And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.

16 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து அவர்கள் எனக்கு முற்றிலும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாரிலும் கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிற சகல முதற்பேறுக்கும் பதிலாக அவர்களை எனக்கு எடுத்துக்கொண்டேன். For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.

17 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் மனிதரிலும் மிருகஜீவன்களிலும் முதற்பேறானதெல்லாம் என்னுடையது; நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலே முதற்பேறான யாவையும் சங்கரித்த நாளிலே அவைகளை எனக்கென்று பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தி, For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 பின்பு லேவியரை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலுள்ள முதற்பேறு சகலத்திற்கும் பதிலாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.

19 லேவியர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய பணிவிடையை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் செய்யும்படிக்கும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படிக்கும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தாங்களே பரிசுத்தஸ்தலத்தில் சேருகிறதினால் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் வாதையுண்டாகாதபடிக்கும், லேவியரை அவர்களிலிருந்து எடுத்து, ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் தத்தமாகக் கொடுத்தேன் என்றார். And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.

20 அப்பொழுது மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையார் யாவரும் கர்த்தர் லேவியரைக்குறித்து மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் லேவியருக்குச் செய்தார்கள். And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.

21 லேவியர் சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்டு, தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்தார்கள்; பின்பு ஆரோன் அவர்களைக் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்க அவர்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்தான். And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.

22 அதற்குப்பின்பு லேவியர் ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் முன்பாக ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் தங்கள் பணிவிடையைச் செய்யும்படி பிரவேசித்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் லேவியரைக்குறித்து மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே அவர்களுக்குச் செய்தார்கள். And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.

23 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

24 லேவியருக்குரிய கட்டளை என்னவென்றால்: இருபத்தைந்து வயதுமுதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள யாவரும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் பணிவிடையைச் செய்யும் சேனையிலே சேவிக்க வரவேண்டும். This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:

25 ஐம்பது வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்டவர்கள் வேலைசெய்யாமல் திருப்பணி சேனையை விட்டு, And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:

5 Pinnum Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

6 Nee Israel santhathiyaarinintu laeviyaraip piriththeduththu, avarkalaich suththikarippaayaaka. Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 Avarkalaich suththirikkumpati avarkalukkuch seyyavaenntiyathaavathu: avarkalmael suththikarikkum jalaththaith thelippaayaaka; pinpu avarkal sarvaanga savarampannnni thangal vasthirangalaith thoyththu, thangalaich suththikarikkakkadavarkal. And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 Appoluthu oru kaalaiyaiyum, atharkaetta ennnneyilae pisaintha melliya maavaakiya pojanapaliyaiyum konnduvarakkadavarkal; paavanivaaranapaliyaaka vaeroru kaalaiyaiyum nee vaangi, Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.

9 Laeviyarai aasarippuk koodaaraththukkumun varachcheythu, Israel puththirarin Sabaiyaar ellaaraiyum kootivarappannnuvaayaaka. And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:

10 Nee laeviyaraik karththarutaiya sannithiyil varappannnninapothu, Israel puththirar thangal kaikalai laeviyarmael vaikkakkadavarkal. And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:

11 Laeviyar karththarukkuriya pannivitai seyyumporuttu, aaron avarkalai Israel puththirarin kaannikkaiyaakak karththarukku munpaaka asaivaattappadum kaannikkaiyaay niraுththakkadavan. And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.

12 Athanpin laeviyar thangal kaikalaik kaalaikalutaiya thalaiyinmael vaippaarkalaaka; pinpu nee laeviyarukkaakap paavanivirththi seyyumporuttu, karththarukku avaikalil ontaip paavanivaarana paliyaakavum, mattaொntaich sarvaanga thakanapaliyaakavum seluththi, And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 Laeviyarai aaronukkum avan kumaaranukkum munpaaka niraுththi, avarkalaik karththarukku asaivaattappadum kaannikkaiyaakki, And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.

14 Ippati nee laeviyarai Israel puththirarilirunthu piriththedukkakkadavaay; laeviyar ennutaiyavarkalaayiruppaarkal. Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.

15 Ippati avarkalaich suththikariththu, avarkalai asaivaattum kaannikkaiyaakkakkadavaay; athanpinpu laeviyar aasarippuk koodaaraththil pannivitai seyyap piravaesikkakkadavarkal. And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.

16 Israel puththirarilirunthu avarkal enakku muttilum kodukkappattirukkiraarkal; Israel puththirar ellaarilum karppanthiranthu pirakkira sakala mutharpaeraுkkum pathilaaka avarkalai enakku eduththukkonntaen. For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.

17 Israel puththiraril manitharilum mirukajeevankalilum mutharpaeraanathellaam ennutaiyathu; naan ekipthuthaesaththilae mutharpaeraana yaavaiyum sangariththa naalilae avaikalai enakkentu Parisuththappaduththi, For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 Pinpu laeviyarai Israel puththirarilulla mutharpaeraு sakalaththirkum pathilaaka eduththukkonndu, And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.

19 Laeviyar Israel puththirarutaiya pannivitaiyai aasarippuk koodaaraththil seyyumpatikkum, Israel puththirarukkaakap paavanivirththi seyyumpatikkum, Israel puththirar thaangalae Parisuththasthalaththil serukirathinaal Israel puththiraril vaathaiyunndaakaathapatikkum, laeviyarai avarkalilirunthu eduththu, aaronukkum avan kumaararukkum thaththamaakak koduththaen entar. And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.

20 Appoluthu Mosesyum aaronum Israel puththirarin Sabaiyaar yaavarum Karththar laeviyaraikkuriththu Moseskkuk kattalaiyittapatiyellaam laeviyarukkuch seythaarkal. And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.

21 Laeviyar suththikarikkappattu, thangal vasthirangalaith thoyththaarkal; pinpu aaron avarkalaik karththarukku munpaaka asaivaattum kaannikkaiyaaka niraுththi, avarkalaich suththikarikka avarkalukkaakap paavanivirththi seythaan. And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.

22 Atharkuppinpu laeviyar aaronukkum avan kumaararukkum munpaaka aasarippuk koodaaraththil thangal pannivitaiyaich seyyumpati piravaesiththaarkal; Karththar laeviyaraikkuriththu Moseskkuk kattalaiyittapatiyae avarkalukkuch seythaarkal. And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.

23 Pinnum Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

24 Laeviyarukkuriya kattalai ennavental: irupaththainthu vayathumuthal atharku maerpatta vayathulla yaavarum aasarippuk koodaaraththin pannivitaiyaich seyyum senaiyilae sevikka varavaenndum. This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:

25 Aimpathu vayathukku maerpattavarkal vaelaiseyyaamal thiruppanni senaiyai vittu, And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
