त्यसपछि, पिलातसले येशूलाई मुक्त पार्ने कोशिश गरे। तर यहूदीहरूले तिनलाई कराउँदै भने, “कसैले आफैलाई राजा बनाउँछ भने त्यो सिजर वोरधी हो। यसर्थ उसलाई तपाईं छुटकारा दिनु हुन्छ भने तपाईं सिजरको मित्र हुनु हुन्न।”

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.

Upon this Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou release this man, thou art not Caesar's friend: every one that maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
