καὶ And kai ὁ ho ὀμόσας whoso shall swear omnyō ἐν by en τῷ the ho ναῷ temple, naos ὀμνύει sweareth omnyō ἐν by en αὐτῷ it, autos καὶ and kai ἐν by en τῷ ho κατοικοῦντι him that dwelleth katoikeō αὐτόν therein. autos

ὁδηγοὶ guides, hodēgos τυφλοί blind typhlos οἱ ho διϋλίζοντες which strain at diulizō τὸν a ho κώνωπα gnat, kōnōps τὴν ho δὲ and de κάμηλον a camel. kamēlos καταπίνοντες swallow katapinō

Φαρισαῖε Pharisee, pharisaios τυφλέ blind typhlos καθάρισον cleanse katharizō πρῶτον first prōton τὸ that ho ἐντὸς within entos τοῦ the ho ποτηρίου cup potērion καὶ and kai τῆς ho παροψίδος, platter, paropsis ἵνα that hina γένηται may be ginomai καὶ also. kai τὸ the ho ἐκτὸς outside ektos αὐτῶν of them autos καθαρόν clean katharos

οὕτως Even so houtō καὶ also kai ὑμεῖς ye hymeis ἔξωθεν outwardly exōthen μὲν men φαίνεσθε appear phainō τοῖς ho ἀνθρώποις unto men, anthrōpos δίκαιοι righteous dikaios ἔσωθεν within esōthen δέ but de μεστοὶ full mestos ἐστε ye are este ὑποκρίσεως of hypocrisy hypokrisis καὶ and kai ἀνομίας iniquity. anomia

καὶ And kai λέγετε say, legō Εἰ If ei ἤμεν we had been eimi ἐν in en ταῖς the ho ἡμέραις days hēmera τῶν ho πατέρων of fathers, patēr ἡμῶν our hēmōn οὐκ not ou ἂν we an ἤμεν would have been eimi κοινωνοὶ partakers koinōnos αὐτῶν with them autos ἐν in en τῷ the ho αἵματι blood haima τῶν the ho προφητῶν of prophets. prophētēs

ὄφεις serpents, ophis γεννήματα generation gennēma ἐχιδνῶν of vipers, echidna πῶς how can pōs φύγητε ye escape pheugō ἀπὸ apo τῆς the ho κρίσεως damnation krisis τῆς of ho γεέννης hell? geenna

Ἰερουσαλὴμ O Jerusalem, hierousalēm Ἰερουσαλήμ, Jerusalem, hierousalēm ἡ ho ἀποκτείνουσα that killest apokteinō τοὺς the ho προφήτας prophets, prophētēs καὶ and kai λιθοβολοῦσα stonest lithoboleō τοὺς ho ἀπεσταλμένους them which are sent apostellō πρὸς unto pros αὐτήν, thee, autos ποσάκις how often posakis ἠθέλησα would I have thelō ἐπισυναγαγεῖν gathered together, episynagō τὰ ho τέκνα children teknon σου thy sou ὃν even hos τρόπον as tropos ἐπισυνάγει gathereth episynagō ὄρνις a hen ornis τὰ ho νοσσία chickens nossion ἑαυτῆς her heautou ὑπὸ under hypo τὰς ho πτέρυγας wings, pteryx καὶ and kai οὐκ not! ou ἠθελήσατε ye would thelō

ἰδού, Behold, idou ἀφίεται is left aphiēmi ὑμῖν unto you hymin ὁ ho οἶκος house oikos ὑμῶν your hymōn ἔρημος desolate. erēmos
