Genesis 11 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 And all the earth had one language and one tongue.ഭൂമിയിൽ ഒക്കെയും ഒരേ ഭാഷയും ഒരേ വാക്കും ആയിരുന്നു.

2 And it came about that in their wandering from the east, they came to a stretch of flat country in the land of Shinar, and there they made their living-place.എന്നാൽ അവർ കിഴക്കോട്ടു യാത്ര ചെയ്തു, ശിനാർദേശത്തു ഒരു സമഭൂമി കണ്ടു അവിടെ കുടിയിരുന്നു.

3 And they said one to another, Come, let us make bricks, burning them well. And they had bricks for stone, putting them together with sticky earth.അവർ തമ്മിൽ: വരുവിൻ, നാം ഇഷ്ടക അറുത്തു ചുടുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഇഷ്ടക കല്ലായും പശമണ്ണു കുമ്മായമായും ഉപയോഗിച്ചു.

4 And they said, Come, let us make a town, and a tower whose top will go up as high as heaven; and let us make a great name for ourselves, so that we may not be wanderers over the face of the earth.വരുവിൻ, നാം ഭൂതലത്തിൽ ഒക്കെയും ചിതറിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഒരു പട്ടണവും ആകാശത്തോളം എത്തുന്ന ഒരു ഗോപുരവും പണിക; നമുക്കു ഒരു പേരുമുണ്ടാക്കുക എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

5 And the Lord came down to see the town and the tower which the children of men were building.മനുഷ്യർ പണിത പട്ടണവും ഗോപുരവും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു.

6 And the Lord said, See, they are all one people and have all one language; and this is only the start of what they may do: and now it will not be possible to keep them from any purpose of theirs.അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ: ഇതാ, ജനം ഒന്നു അവർക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും ഭാഷയും ഒന്നു; ഇതും അവർ ചെയ്തു തുടങ്ങുന്നു; അവർ ചെയ്‍വാൻ നിരൂപിക്കുന്നതൊന്നും അവർക്കു അസാദ്ധ്യമാകയില്ല.

7 Come, let us go down and take away the sense of their language, so that they will not be able to make themselves clear to one another.വരുവിൻ; നാം ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു, അവർ തമ്മിൽ ഭാഷതിരിച്ചറിയാതിരിപ്പാൻ അവരുടെ ഭാഷ കലക്കിക്കളക എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

8 So the Lord God sent them away into every part of the earth: and they gave up building their town.അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ അവരെ അവിടെനിന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിലെങ്ങും ചിന്നിച്ചു; അവർ പട്ടണം പണിയുന്നതു വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

9 So it was named Babel, because there the Lord took away the sense of all languages and from there the Lord sent them away over all the face of the earth.സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലെയും ഭാഷ യഹോവ അവിടെവെച്ചു കലക്കിക്കളകയാൽ അതിന്നു ബാബേൽ എന്നു പേരായി; യഹോവ അവരെ അവിടെനിന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിൽ എങ്ങും ചിന്നിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

10 These are the generations of Shem. Shem was a hundred years old when he became the father of Arpachshad, two years after the great flow of waters;ശേമിന്റെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതു: ശേമിന്നു നൂറു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്നു പിമ്പു രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അർപ്പക്ഷാദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

11 And after the birth of Arpachshad, Shem went on living for five hundred years, and had sons and daughters:അർപ്പക്ഷാദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം ശേം അഞ്ഞൂറു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

12 And Arpachshad was thirty-five years old when he became the father of Shelah:അർപ്പക്ഷാദിന്നു മുപ്പത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ശാലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

13 And after the birth of Shelah, Arpachshad went on living for four hundred and three years, and had sons and daughters:ശാലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം അർപ്പക്ഷാദ് നാനൂറ്റിമൂന്നു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

14 And Shelah was thirty years old when he became the father of Eber:ശാലഹിന്നു മുപ്പതു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഏബെരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

15 And after the birth of Eber, Shelah went on living for four hundred and three years, and had sons and daughters:ഏബെരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം ശാലഹ് നാനൂറ്റി മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

16 And Eber was thirty-four years old when he became the father of Peleg:ഏബെരിന്നു മുപ്പത്തിനാലു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ പേലെഗിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

17 And after the birth of Peleg, Eber went on living for four hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters:പേലെഗിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം ഏബെർ നാനൂറ്റിമുപ്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

18 And Peleg was thirty years old when he became the father of Reu:പേലെഗിന്നു മുപ്പതു വയ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ രെയൂവിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

19 And after the birth of Reu, Peleg went on living for two hundred and nine years, and had sons and daughters:രെയൂവിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം പേലെഗ് ഇരൂനൂറ്റൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

20 And Reu was thirty-two years old when he became the father of Serug:രെയൂവിന്നു മുപ്പത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ ശെരൂഗിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

21 And after the birth of Serug, Reu went on living for two hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters:ശെരൂഗിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം രെയൂ ഇരുനൂറ്റേഴു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

22 And Serug was thirty years old when he became the father of Nahor:ശെരൂഗിന്നു മുപ്പതു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ നാഹോരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

23 And after the birth of Nahor, Serug went on living for two hundred years, and had sons and daughters:നാഹോരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം ശേരൂഗ് ഇരുനൂറു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

24 And Nahor was twenty-nine years old when he became the father of Terah:നാഹോരിന്നു ഇരുപത്തൊമ്പതു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ തേരഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

25 And after the birth of Terah, Nahor went on living for a hundred and nineteen years, and had sons and daughters:തേരഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം നാഹോർ നൂറ്റി പത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

26 And Terah was seventy years old when he became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran.തേരഹിന്നു എഴുപതു വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ അവൻ അബ്രാം, നാഹോർ, ഹാരാൻ എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

27 These are the generations of Terah: Terah was the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran was the father of Lot.തേരഹിന്റെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതു: തേരഹ് അബ്രാമിനെയും നാഹോരിനെയും ഹാരാനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഹാരാൻ ലോത്തിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

28 And death came to Haran when he was with his father Terah in the land of his birth, Ur of the Chaldees.എന്നാൽ ഹാരാൻ തന്റെ ജന്മദേശത്തുവെച്ചു, കൽദയരുടെ ഒരു പട്ടണമായ ഊരിൽവെച്ചു തന്നേ, തന്റെ അപ്പനായ തേരഹിന്നു മുമ്പെ മരിച്ചുപോയി.

29 And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and Iscah.അബ്രാമും നാഹോരും ഭാര്യമാരെ എടുത്തു; അബ്രാമിന്റെ ഭാര്യക്കു സാറായി എന്നും നാഹോരിന്റെ ഭാര്യക്കു മിൽക്കാ എന്നും പേർ. ഇവൾ മിൽക്കയുടെയും യിസ്കയുടെയും അപ്പനായ ഹാരാന്റെ മകൾ തന്നെ.

30 And Sarai had no child.സാറായി മച്ചിയായിരുന്നു; അവൾക്കു സന്തതി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

31 And Terah took Abram, his son, and Lot, the son of Haran, and Sarai, his daughter-in-law, the wife of his son Abram and they went out from Ur of the Chaldees, to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran, and were there for some time.തേരഹ് തന്റെ മകനായ അബ്രാമിനെയും ഹാരാന്റെ മകനായ തന്റെ പൌത്രൻ ലോത്തിനെയും തന്റെ മകനായ അബ്രാമിന്റെ ഭാര്യയായി മരുമകളായ സാറായിയെയും കൂട്ടി കൽദയരുടെ പട്ടണമായ ഊരിൽനിന്നു കനാൻ ദേശത്തേക്കു പോകുവാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവർ ഹാരാൻ വരെ വന്നു അവിടെ പാർത്തു.

32 And all the years of Terah's life were two hundred and five: and Terah came to his end in Haran.തേരഹിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ഇരുനൂറ്റഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ആയിരുന്നു; തേരഹ് ഹാരാനിൽവെച്ചു മരിച്ചു.
