அவர் ஒலிவமலையின் அடிவாரத்துக்குச் சமீபமாய் வருகையில் திரளானகூட்டமாகிய சீஷரெல்லாரும் தாங்கள் கண்ட சகல அற்புதங்களையுங்குறித͠Τுச் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு,

எருசலேமுக்கு அருகில் இயேசு வந்துகொண்டிருந்தார். அவர் ஒலிவமலை அடி நகரத்திற்கருகே வந்திருந்தார். அவரது சீஷர்கள் அனைவரும் மகிழ்வோடு இருந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் உரத்த குரலில் களிப்புடன் தேவனை வாழ்த்தினார்கள். அவர்கள் தாம் பார்த்த எல்லா வல்லமையான செயல்களுக்கும் தேவனுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்தார்கள்.
