ಮೂರನೆಯ ದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ನದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಯಿದನು; ಅವುಗಳ ನೀರು ರಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು.

Revelation 16:5
ಅಮೇಲೆ ಜಲಗಳ ದೂತನು--ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಇರುವಾತನೂ ಇದ್ದಾತನೂ ಬರುವಾತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿ ಸ್ವರೂಪನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ.

ನಾನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಯಾಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ? ನಾನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ಯಾಕೆ ಯಾರೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ? ನನ್ನ ಹಸ್ತವು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸದಂಥಾ ಮೋಟುಗೈಯೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಬಿಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಣಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಬಾಯಾರಿ ಸತ್ತುನಾರುವವು.
