Proverbs 25 - YLT (Kannada)

1 Also these are Proverbs of Solomon, that men of Hezekiah king of Judah transcribed: --ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಲೇಖಕರು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಇವು ಕೂಡ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಸಾಮತಿಗಳೇ.

2 The honour of God `is' to hide a thing, And the honour of kings to search out a matter.ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ರಹಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವದು ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆ; ಅರಸರ ಘನತೆಯು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದು.

3 The heavens for height, and the earth for depth, And the heart of kings -- `are' unsearchable.ಆಕಾ ಶವು, ಉನ್ನತ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅಗಾಧ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಸರ ಹೃದಯವು ಅಗೋಚರ.

4 Take away dross from silver, And a vessel for the refiner goeth forth,ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಮಶವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅಕ್ಕಸಾಲಿಗನಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ಬರುವದು.

5 Take away the wicked before a king, And established in righteousness is his throne.ಅರಸನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗುವದು.

6 Honour not thyself before a king, And in the place of the great stand not.ಅರಸನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ದೊಡ್ಡವರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಡ;

7 For better `that' he hath said to thee, `Come thou up hither,' Than `that' he humble thee before a noble, Whom thine eyes have seen.ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದ ರಾಜನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಲೇಸು.

8 Go not forth to strive, haste, turn, What dost thou in its latter end, When thy neighbour causeth thee to blush?ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯ ದಂತೆ ದುಡುಕಿನಿಂದ ಕಲಹಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡ.

9 Thy cause plead with thy neighbour, And the secret counsel of another reveal not,ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸು; ಗುಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಹೊರಪಡಿಸಬೇಡ;

10 Lest the hearer put thee to shame, And thine evil report turn not back.ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಪಡಿಸಿಯಾನು, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಹೋಗದೆ ಇದ್ದೀತು.

11 Apples of gold in imagery of silver, `Is' the word spoken at its fit times.ಸಮಯೋಚಿತವಾದ ಮಾತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸೇಬಿನಂತಿದೆ.

12 A ring of gold, and an ornament of pure gold, `Is' the wise reprover to an attentive ear.ಕೇಳುವ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯ ಗದರಿಕೆಯು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೇ ಬಂಗಾ ರದ ಕಿವಿಯ ಓಲೆಯು ಚೊಕ್ಕಬಂಗಾರದ ಆಭರಣ ದಂತಿದೆ.

13 As a vessel of snow in a day of harvest, `So is' a faithful ambassador to those sending him, And the soul of his masters he refresheth.ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಮಶೀತದ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ಥನಾದ ಸೇವಕನಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಅವನು ನವಚೈತನ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 Clouds and wind, and rain there is none, `Is' a man boasting himself in a false gift.ಸುಳ್ಳಾದ ದಾನದ ವಿಷ ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಮಳೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಮೋಡ ಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

15 By long-suffering is a ruler persuaded, And a soft tongue breaketh a bone.ದೀರ್ಘ ಶಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಭುವನ್ನು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು. ಮೃದುವಾದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಎಲುಬನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

16 Honey thou hast found -- eat thy sufficiency, Lest thou be satiated `with' it, and hast vomited it.ಜೇನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀಯಾ? ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ತಿನ್ನು; ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬ ತಿಂದರೆ ಕಾರ ಬೇಕಾದೀತು.

17 Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house, Lest he be satiated `with' thee, and have hated thee.ನೆರೆಯವನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಡು.

18 A maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow, `Is' the man testifying against his neighbour a false testimony.ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳುವವನು ಚಮಟಿಗೆ, ಕತ್ತಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಹರಿತವಾದ ಬಾಣವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

19 A bad tooth, and a tottering foot, `Is' the confidence of the treacherous in a day of adversity.ಕಷ್ಟ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪನಂಬಿಗಸ್ಥನಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲಿಯ ಭರವಸವು ಮುರಿದ ಹಲ್ಲು, ಕೀಲು ತಪ್ಪಿದ ಪಾದವು.

20 Whoso is taking away a garment in a cold day, `Is as' vinegar on nitre, And a singer of songs on a sad heart.ಚಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವವನು ಸೋಡಾಉಪ್ಪಿನ ಹುಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮನಗುಂದಿದವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಗೀತಗ ಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವನು.

21 If he who is hating thee doth hunger, cause him to eat bread, And if he thirst, cause him to drink water.ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರು ಹಸಿದಿದ್ದರೆ ತಿನ್ನುವ ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಡು; ಅವನು ಬಾಯಾರಿದ್ದರೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಕೊಡು.

22 For coals thou art putting on his head, And Jehovah giveth recompense to thee.ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಕೊಡುವನು.

23 A north wind bringeth forth rain, And a secret tongue -- indignant faces.ಉತ್ತರದ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ನೂಕುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಚಾಡಿಯ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಕೋಪದ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡುವದೆ.

24 Better to sit on a corner of a roof, Than `with' a woman of contentions, and a house of company.ವಿಶಾಲ ವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗಳಗಂಟಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುವದ ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವದು ಲೇಸು.

25 `As' cold waters for a weary soul, So `is' a good report from a far country.ಬಾಯಾರಿದವನಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರು ಹೇಗೋ ದೂರ ದೇಶ ದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಮಾಚಾರವು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ.

26 A spring troubled, and a fountain corrupt, `Is' the righteous falling before the wicked.ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮುಂದೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಬೀಳುವದು, ಕದಲಿ ಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬುಗ್ಗೆ, ಕೊಳಕಾದ ಒರತೆ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ.

27 The eating of much honey is not good, Nor a searching out of one's own honour -- honour.ಜೇನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ತಿನ್ನುವದು ಹಿತವಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಸ್ವಂತ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವದು ಗೌರವವಲ್ಲ.

28 A city broken down without walls, `Is' a man without restraint over his spirit!ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆಳದಿರುವವನು ಮುರಿ ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿ, ಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನ.
