ಆದರೆ ಅವನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಾಯಬೇಕಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬಹು ಆವೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
