ಯೋತಾಮನಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ಗೆರಿಜ್ಜೀಮ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿ ನಿಂತು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಶೆಕೆಮಿನ ಜನರೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೊರೆ ಕೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.

his voice, קוֹל֖וֹ qôl kole
and cried, וַיִּקְרָ֑א qārāʾ ka-RA
and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
לָהֶ֗ם
unto them, Hearken שִׁמְע֤וּ šāmaʿ sha-MA
unto אֵלַי֙ ʾēl ale
me, ye men בַּֽעֲלֵ֣י baʿal ba-AL
of Shechem, שְׁכֶ֔ם šĕkem sheh-HEM
may hearken וְיִשְׁמַ֥ע šāmaʿ sha-MA
unto you. אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם ʾēl ale
that God אֱלֹהִֽים׃ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
