ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡು--ನಾನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಜನಾಂಗವು ವಿಾರಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದ ದರಿಂದ

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿದು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡು. ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
