1 Samuel 16:7 ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಸಮುವೇಲನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಅವನ ರೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ದೇಹದ ಉದ್ದವನ್ನೂ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಬೇಡ; ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದೆನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಹೊರಗಿನ ತೋರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನೋಡದೆ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೇ ನೋಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.
