கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் மிஸ்பாவுக்கு வராதவன் நிச்சயமாய்க் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவன் என்று அவர்கள் பெரிய ஆணையிட்டிருந்தபடியால், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர்: கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சபைகூடினபோது, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய எல்லாக் கோத்திரங்களிலுமிருந்து வராதே போனவர்கள் யார் என்று விசாரித்தார்கள்.

அப்போது இஸ்ரவேலர், “கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக எங்களுடன் இங்கு வந்து சேராத இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களில் யாரேனும் இருக்கிறார்களா?” என்றனர். அவர்கள் தீவிரமான வாக்குறுதி கொடுத்திருந்ததினால் இந்த கேள்வியைக் கேட்டனர். மிஸ்பாவில் பிறக் கோத்திரங்களோடு வந்து சேராதவன் கொல்லப்படுவான் என்று வாக்குறுதி அளித்திருந்தனர்.

Karththarutaiya sannithiyil mispaavukku varaathavan nichchayamaayk kolai seyyappadakkadavan entu avarkal periya aannaiyittirunthapatiyaal, Israel puththirar: karththarutaiya sannithiyil Sabaikootinapothu, isravaelutaiya ellaak koththirangalilumirunthu varaathae ponavarkal yaar entu visaariththaarkal.
