அவன் அதைத் தன் கைகளில் எடுத்து, சாப்பிட்டுக்கொண்டே நடந்து, தன் தாய்தகப்பனிடத்தில் வந்து, அவர்களுக்கும் கொடுத்தான்; அவர்களும் சாப்பிட்டார்கள், ஆனாலும் தான் அந்தத் தேனைச் சிங்கத்தின் உடலிலே எடுத்ததை அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கவில்லை.

சிம்சோன் தனது கைகளால் அதில் கொஞ்சம் தேனை எடுத்தான். அவன் தேனைச் சுவைத்துக் கொண்டே வழியில் நடத்தான். அவன் தன் பெற்றோரிடம் வந்தபோது அவர்களுக்கும் சிறிது தேனைக் கொடுத்தான். அவர்களும் அதை உண்டனர். ஆனால் மரித்த சிங்கத்திடமிருந்து எடுத்த தேன் அது என்று அவர்களிடம் சிம்சோன் கூறவில்லை.
