யோசுவா 8:9
அவர்களை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் போய், பெத்தேலுக்கும் ஆயிக்கும் நடுவே, ஆயிக்கு மேற்காகப் பதிவிருந்தார்கள்; யோசுவா அன்று ராத்திரி ஜனங்களுக்குள் தங்கினான்.

யோசுவா அம்மனிதர்களை மறைவிடங்களுக்கு அனுப்பியபின் காத்திருந்தான். அவர்கள் பெத்தேலுக்கும் ஆயீக்கும் மத்தியிலுள்ள ஓரிடத்திற்குச் சென்றனர். அது ஆயீக்கு மேற்கிலிருந்தது. அன்றிரவு யோசுவா தனது ஜனங்களோடு தங்கியிருந்தான்.
