ராஜா அந்தச் சுருளையும், அதிலே எரேமியாவின் வாய் சொல்லப் பாருக்கு எழுதியிருந்த வார்த்தைகளையும் சுட்டெரித்த பின்பு, எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகி, அவர்:

கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து எரேமியாவிற்குச் செய்தி வந்தது. இது, கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வந்தச் செய்தி முழுவதும் எழுதப்பட்ட புத்தகச்சுருள் அரசன் யோயாக்கீமால் எரிக்கப்பட்டப்பிறகு வந்தது. எரேமியா பாருக்கிடம் பேசியிருந்தான். பாருக் அவற்றைப் புத்தகச் சுருளில் எழுதியிருந்தான். கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து எரேமியாவிற்கு வந்தச் செய்தி இதுதான்:

Jeremiah,	יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ	yirmĕyâ	yeer-meh-YA
after that	אַחֲרֵ֣י׀	ʾaḥar	ah-HAHR

the king	הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
