எரேமியா 34:18
என் முகத்துக்குமுன் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையின் வார்த்தைகளை நிறைவேற்றாமல், என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறின மனுஷரை நான் துண்டங்களின் நடுவாகக் கடந்துபோகும்படி அவர்களை இரண்டாகத் துண்டித்த கன்றுக்குட்டியைப்போல் ஆக்குவேன்.

எனக்கு முன்னால் செய்த வாக்குறுதியை காப்பாற்றாத, உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்த மனிதர்களை நான் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன். அந்த மனிதர்கள் ஒரு கன்றுகுட்டியை இரண்டாக எனக்கு முன் வெட்டினார்கள்: இரண்டு துண்டுகளுக்கு இடையில் நடந்தனர்.

❮18-19❯இளங் காளையின் துண்டங்களுக்கு நடுவே கடந்து போன யூதாவின் தலைவர்கள், எருசலேமின் தலைவர்கள், அரசவையோர், குருக்கள், நாட்டுமக்கள் அனைவரும் என் திருமுன் செய்துகொண்ட உடன்படிக்கையை மீறி அதன் உடன்பாடுகளை நிறைவேற்றத் தவறினார்கள். எனவே, இரண்டாக வெட்டப்பட்டு, அத்துண்டங்களிடையே கடந்து செல்வதற்காகப் பயன்படுத்திய இளங்காளையைப் போல் அவர்களை நான் ஆக்குவேன்.

En mukaththukkumun pannnnina udanpatikkaiyin vaarththaikalai niraivaettaாmal, en udanpatikkaiyai meerina manusharai naan thunndangalin naduvaakak kadanthupokumpati avarkalai iranndaakath thunntiththa kantukkuttiyaippol aakkuvaen.

אֶת ʾēt ate
the men הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים ʾîš eesh
that have transgressed הָעֹֽבְרִים֙ ʿābar ah-VAHR
אֶת ʾēt ate
my covenant, בְּרִתִ֔י bĕrît beh-REET
which אֲשֶׁ֤ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
have not לֹֽא lōʾ loh
performed הֵקִ֙ימוּ֙ qûm koom

the words דִּבְרֵ֣י dābār da-VAHR
