மனுஷனும் மிருகமும் இல்லாதபடிக்குப் பாழாய்ப்போயிற்று என்றும், கல்தேயரின் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டுப்போயிற்று என்றும், நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிற இந்தத் தேசத்திலே நிலங்கள் கொள்ளப்படும்.

And fields הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה śāde sa-DEH
land, בָּאָ֣רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
in this הַזֹּ֑את zōt zote
whereof אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ ʾăšer uh-SHER
ye אַתֶּ֣ם ʾattâ ah-TA
say, אֹמְרִ֗ים ʾāmar ah-MAHR
desolate שְׁמָמָ֥ה šĕmāmâ sheh-ma-MA
הִיא֙ hûʾ hoo
without מֵאֵ֤ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
man אָדָם֙ ʾādām ah-DAHM
or beast; וּבְהֵמָ֔ה bĕhēmâ beh-hay-MA
it is given נִתְּנָ֖ה nātan na-TAHN
into the hand בְּיַ֥ד yād yahd
