તેઓએ કહ્યું, “તેણે બીજા લોકોને બચાવ્યા, પણ તે તેની જાતને બચાવી શક્તો નથી. લોકો કહે છે તે ઈસ્રાએલનો રાજા છે. (યહૂદિઓનો) જો તે રાજા હોય તો તેને હવે વધસ્તંભ પરથી નીચે આવવું જોઈએ. પછી અમે તેનામાં વિશ્વાસ મૂકીશું.
