தாண், குதிரையின்மேல் ஏறியிருக்கிறவன் மல்லாந்து விழும்படியாய் அதின் குதிகாலைக் கடிக்கிறதற்கு வழியில் கிடக்கிற சர்ப்பத்தைப் போலவும், பாதையில் இருக்கிற விரியனைப்போலவும் இருப்பான்.
