ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனும் நாகோரின் தேவனும் அவர்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறவர் நமக்குள்ளே நடுநின்று நியாயந்தீர்ப்பாராக என்றான். அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு தன் தகப்பனாகிய ஈசாக்கின் பயபக்திக்குரியவர்மேல் ஆணையிட்டான்.
