Genesis 24:1-9 in Tamil in Tamil

1 ஆபிரகாம் வயது சென்று முதிர்ந்தவனானான். கர்த்தர் ஆபிரகாமைச் சகல காரியங்களிலும் ஆசீர்வதித்து வந்தார். And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

2 அப்பொழுது ஆபிரகாம் தன் வீட்டிலுள்ளவர்களில் வயதில் மூத்தவனும், தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் அதிகாரியுமாகிய தன் ஊழியக்காரனை நோக்கி: And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

3 நான் குடியிருக்கிற கானானியருடைய குமாரத்திகளில் நீ என் குமாரனுக்குப் பெண்கொள்ளாமல்; And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

4 நீ என் தேசத்துக்கும் என் இனத்தாரிடத்துக்கும் போய், என் குமாரனாகிய ஈசாக்குக்குப் பெண்கொள்வேன் என்று, வானத்துக்குத் தேவனும் பூமிக்குத் தேவனுமாகிய கர்த்தர்பேரில் எனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுக்கும்படிக்கு, நீ உன் கையை என் தொடையின் கீழ் வை என்றான். But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

5 அதற்கு அந்த ஊழியக்காரன்: அவ்விடத்துப் பெண் என் பின்னே இந்தத் தேசத்துக்கு வர மனதில்லாதிருந்தால், நீர் விட்டுவந்த தேசத்திற்குத்தானே உம்முடைய குமாரனை மறுபடியும் அழைத்துப்போகவேண்டுமோ என்று கேட்டான். And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?

6 அதற்கு ஆபிரகாம்: நீ என் குமாரனை மறுபடியும் அங்கே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோகாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு. And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.

7 என்னை என் தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டிலும் என் இனத்தார் இருக்கிற தேசத்திலுமிருந்து அழைத்து வந்தவரும், உன் சந்ததிக்கு இந்த தேசத்தைத் தருவேன் என்று எனக்குச் சொல்லி ஆணையிட்டவருமான வானத்துக்குத் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், நீ அங்கேயிருந்து என் குமாரனுக்கு ஒரு பெண்ணைக் கொண்டுவரும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய தூதனை உனக்கு முன்பாக அனுப்புவார். The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

8 பெண் உன் பின்னே வர மனதில்லாதிருந்தாளேயாகில், அப்பொழுது நீ இந்த என் ஆணைக்கு நீங்கலாயிருப்பாய்; அங்கேமாத்திரம் என் குமாரனை மறுபடியும் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு போகவேண்டாம் என்றான். And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.

9 அப்பொழுது அந்த ஊழியக்காரன் தன் கையைத் தன் எஜமானாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் தொடையின்கீழ் வைத்து, இந்தக் காரியத்தைக்குறித்து அவனுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்தான். And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.

1 Abraham vayathu sentu muthirnthavanaanaan. Karththar aapirakaamaich sakala kaariyangalilum aaseervathiththu vanthaar. And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

2 Appoluthu Abraham than veettilullavarkalil vayathil mooththavanum, thanakku unndaana ellaavattirkum athikaariyumaakiya than ooliyakkaaranai Nnokki: And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

3 Naan kutiyirukkira kaanaaniyarutaiya kumaaraththikalil nee en kumaaranukkup pennkollaamal; And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

4 Nee en thaesaththukkum en inaththaaridaththukkum poy, en kumaaranaakiya eesaakkukkup pennkolvaen entu, vaanaththukkuth thaevanum poomikkuth thaevanumaakiya Karththarpaeril enakku aannaiyittukkodukkumpatikku, nee un kaiyai en thotaiyin geel vai entan. But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

5 Atharku antha ooliyakkaaran: avvidaththup penn en pinnae inthath thaesaththukku vara manathillaathirunthaal, neer vittuvantha thaesaththirkuththaanae ummutaiya kumaaranai maraுpatiyum alaiththuppokavaenndumo entu kaettan. And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?

6 Atharku Abraham: nee en kumaaranai maraுpatiyum angae alaiththukkonndupokaathapatikku echcharikkaiyaayiru. And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.

7 Ennai en thakappanutaiya veettilum en inaththaar irukkira thaesaththilumirunthu alaiththu vanthavarum, un santhathikku intha thaesaththaith tharuvaen entu enakkuch solli aannaiyittavarumaana vaanaththukkuth thaevanaakiya Karththar, nee angaeyirunthu en kumaaranukku oru pennnnaik konnduvarumpatikku, thammutaiya thoothanai unakku munpaaka anuppuvaar. The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

8 Penn un pinnae vara manathillaathirunthaalaeyaakil, appoluthu nee intha en aannaikku neengalaayiruppaay; angaemaaththiram en kumaaranai maraுpatiyum alaiththukkonndu pokavaenndaam entan. And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.

9 Appoluthu antha ooliyakkaaran than kaiyaith than ejamaanaakiya aapirakaamin thotaiyingeel vaiththu, inthak kaariyaththaikkuriththu avanukku aannaiyittukkoduththaan. And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.
