כֹּֽה Thus kō אָמַר֮ saith ʾāmar אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ʾădōnāy יְהוִה֒ God; yĕhōwi שַׁ֜עַר The gate šaʿar הֶחָצֵ֤ר court ḥāṣēr הַפְּנִימִית֙ of the inner pĕnîmî הַפֹּנֶ֣ה that looketh pānâ קָדִ֔ים toward the east qādîm יִהְיֶ֣ה shall be hāyâ סָג֔וּר shut sāgar שֵׁ֖שֶׁת the six šēš יְמֵ֣י days; yôm הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂ֑ה working maʿăśe וּבְי֤וֹם yôm הַשַּׁבָּת֙ but on the sabbath šabbāt יִפָּתֵ֔חַ it shall be opened, pātaḥ וּבְי֥וֹם and in the day yôm הַחֹ֖דֶשׁ of the new moon ḥōdeš יִפָּתֵֽחַ׃ it shall be opened. pātaḥ

וּבָ֣א shall enter bôʾ הַנָּשִׂ֡יא And the prince nāśîʾ דֶּרֶךְ֩ by the way derek אוּלָ֨ם of the porch ʾûlām הַשַּׁ֜עַר of gate šaʿar מִח֗וּץ without, ḥûṣ וְעָמַד֙ and shall stand ʿāmad עַל by ʿal מְזוּזַ֣ת the post mĕzûzâ הַשַּׁ֔עַר of the gate, šaʿar וְעָשׂ֣וּ shall prepare ʿāśâ הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים and the priests kōhēn אֶת ʾēt עֽוֹלָתוֹ֙ his burnt offering ʿōlâ וְאֶת ʾēt שְׁלָמָ֔יו and his peace offerings, šelem וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוָ֛ה and he shall worship šāḥâ עַל at ʿal מִפְתַּ֥ן the threshold miptān הַשַּׁ֖עַר of the gate: šaʿar וְיָצָ֑א then he shall go forth; yāṣāʾ וְהַשַּׁ֥עַר but the gate šaʿar לֹֽא shall not lōʾ יִסָּגֵ֖ר be shut sāgar עַד until ʿad הָעָֽרֶב׃ the evening. ʿereb

וְהִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ shall worship šāḥâ עַם Likewise the people ʿam הָאָ֗רֶץ of the land ʾereṣ פֶּ֚תַח at the door petaḥ הַשַּׁ֣עַר gate šaʿar הַה֔וּא of this hûʾ בַּשַּׁבָּת֖וֹת in the sabbaths šabbāt וּבֶחֳדָשִׁ֑ים and in the new moons. ḥōdeš לִפְנֵ֖י before pānîm יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord yĕhōwâ

וְהָ֣עֹלָ֔ה And the burnt offering ʿōlâ אֲשֶׁר that ʾăšer יַקְרִ֥ב shall offer qārab הַנָּשִׂ֖יא the prince nāśîʾ לַֽיהוָ֑ה unto the Lord yĕhōwâ בְּי֣וֹם day yôm הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת in the sabbath šabbāt שִׁשָּׁ֧ה six šēš כְבָשִׂ֛ים lambs kebeś תְּמִימִ֖ם without blemish, tāmîm וְאַ֥יִל and a ram ʾayil תָּמִֽים׃ without blemish. tāmîm

וּמִנְחָה֙ And the meat offering minḥâ אֵיפָ֣ה an ephah ʾêpâ לָאַ֔יִל for a ram, ʾayil וְלַכְּבָשִׂ֥ים for the lambs kebeś מִנְחָ֖ה and the meat offering minḥâ מַתַּ֣ת to give, mattāt יָד֑וֹ as he shall be able yād וְשֶׁ֖מֶן of oil šemen הִ֥ין and an hin hîn לָאֵיפָֽה׃ to an ephah. ʾêpâ

וּבְי֣וֹם And in the day yôm הַחֹ֔דֶשׁ of the new moon ḥōdeš פַּ֥ר bullock par בֶּן a young bēn בָּקָ֖ר bāqār תְּמִימִ֑ם without blemish, tāmîm וְשֵׁ֧שֶׁת and six šēš כְּבָשִׂ֛ים lambs, kebeś וָאַ֖יִל and a ram: ʾayil תְּמִימִ֥ם without blemish. tāmîm יִהְיֽוּ׃ they shall be hāyâ

וְאֵיפָ֨ה an ephah ʾêpâ לַפָּ֜ר for a bullock, par וְאֵיפָ֤ה and an ephah ʾêpâ לָאַ֙יִל֙ for a ram, ʾayil יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה And he shall prepare ʿāśâ מִנְחָ֔ה a meat offering, minḥâ וְלַ֨כְּבָשִׂ֔ים and for the lambs kebeś כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר according as ʾăšer תַּשִּׂ֖יג shall attain nāśag יָד֑וֹ his hand yād וְשֶׁ֖מֶן of oil šemen הִ֥ין unto, and an hin hîn לָאֵיפָֽה׃ to an ephah. ʾêpâ

וּבְב֖וֹא shall enter, bôʾ הַנָּשִׂ֑יא And when the prince nāśîʾ דֶּ֣רֶךְ by the way derek אוּלָ֤ם of the porch ʾûlām הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ of gate, šaʿar יָב֔וֹא he shall go in bôʾ וּבְדַרְכּ֖וֹ by the way thereof. derek יֵצֵֽא׃ and he shall go forth yāṣāʾ

וּבְב֨וֹא shall come bôʾ עַם But when the people ʿam הָאָ֜רֶץ of the land ʾereṣ לִפְנֵ֣י before pānîm יְהוָה֮ the Lord yĕhōwâ בַּמּֽוֹעֲדִים֒ in the solemn feasts, môʿēd הַבָּ֡א he that entereth in bôʾ דֶּרֶךְ by the way derek שַׁ֨עַר gate šaʿar צָפ֜וֹן of the north ṣāpôn לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֗ת to worship šāḥâ יֵצֵא֙ shall go out yāṣāʾ דֶּרֶךְ by the way derek שַׁ֣עַר gate; šaʿar נֶ֔גֶב of the south negeb וְהַבָּא֙ and he that entereth bôʾ דֶּרֶךְ by the way derek שַׁ֣עַר gate šaʿar נֶ֔גֶב of the south negeb יֵצֵ֖א shall go forth yāṣāʾ דֶּרֶךְ by the way derek שַׁ֣עַר gate: šaʿar צָפ֑וֹנָה of the north ṣāpôn לֹ֣א he shall not lōʾ יָשׁ֗וּב return šûb דֶּ֤רֶךְ by the way derek הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ of the gate šaʿar אֲשֶׁר whereby ʾăšer בָּ֣א he came in, bôʾ ב֔וֹ כִּ֥י but kî נִכְח֖וֹ over against it. nēkaḥ יֵצֵֽאו׃ shall go forth yāṣāʾ

וְֽהַנָּשִׂ֑יא And the prince nāśîʾ בְּתוֹכָ֤ם in the midst tāwek בְּבוֹאָם֙ of them, when they go in, bôʾ יָב֔וֹא shall go in; bôʾ וּבְצֵאתָ֖ם and when they go forth, yāṣāʾ יֵצֵֽאוּ׃ shall go forth. yāṣāʾ

וּבַחַגִּ֣ים And in the feasts ḥag וּבַמּוֹעֲדִ֗ים and in the solemnities môʿēd תִּהְיֶ֤ה shall be hāyâ הַמִּנְחָה֙ the meat offering minḥâ אֵיפָ֤ה an ephah ʾêpâ לַפָּר֙ to a bullock, par וְאֵיפָ֣ה and an ephah ʾêpâ לָאַ֔יִל to a ram, ʾayil וְלַכְּבָשִׂ֖ים and to the lambs kebeś מַתַּ֣ת to give, mattāt יָד֑וֹ as he is able yād וְשֶׁ֖מֶן of oil šemen הִ֥ין and an hin hîn לָאֵיפָֽה׃ to an ephah. ʾêpâ

וְכִֽי Now when kî יַעֲשֶׂה֩ shall prepare ʿāśâ הַנָּשִׂ֨יא the prince nāśîʾ נְדָבָ֜ה a voluntary nĕdābâ עוֹלָ֣ה burnt offering ʿōlâ אֽוֹ or ʾô שְׁלָמִים֮ peace offerings šelem נְדָבָ֣ה voluntarily nĕdābâ לַֽיהוָה֒ unto the Lord, yĕhōwâ וּפָ֣תַֽח shall then open pātaḥ ל֗וֹ אֶת him ʾēt הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ the gate šaʿar הַפֹּנֶ֣ה that looketh pānâ קָדִ֔ים toward the east, qādîm וְעָשָׂ֤ה and he shall prepare ʿāśâ אֶת ʾēt עֹֽלָתוֹ֙ his burnt offering ʿōlâ וְאֶת ʾēt שְׁלָמָ֔יו and his peace offerings, šelem כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ʾăšer יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה he did ʿāśâ בְּי֣וֹם day: yôm הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת on the sabbath šabbāt וְיָצָ֛א then he shall go forth; yāṣāʾ וְסָגַ֥ר shall shut sāgar אֶת ʾēt הַשַּׁ֖עַר the gate. šaʿar אַחֲרֵ֥י and after ʾaḥar צֵאתֽוֹ׃ his going forth yāṣāʾ

וְכֶ֨בֶשׂ a lamb kebeś בֶּן of the first bēn שְׁנָת֜וֹ year šāne תָּמִ֗ים without blemish: tāmîm תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה prepare ʿāśâ עוֹלָ֛ה a burnt offering ʿōlâ לַיּ֖וֹם Thou shalt daily yôm לַֽיהוָֹ֑ה unto the Lord yĕhōwâ בַּבֹּ֥קֶר it every bōqer בַּבֹּ֖קֶר morning. bōqer תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה thou shalt prepare ʿāśâ אֹתֽוֹ׃ ʾēt

וּמִנְחָה֩ a meat offering minḥâ תַעֲשֶׂ֨ה And thou shalt prepare ʿāśâ עָלָ֜יו for ʿal בַּבֹּ֤קֶר it every morning, bōqer בַּבֹּ֙קֶר֙ bōqer שִׁשִּׁ֣ית the sixth part šiššî הָֽאֵיפָ֔ה of an ephah, ʾêpâ וְשֶׁ֛מֶן of oil, šemen שְׁלִישִׁ֥ית and the third part šĕlîšî הַהִ֖ין of an hin hîn לָרֹ֣ס to temper with rāsas אֶת ʾēt הַסֹּ֑לֶת the fine flour; sōlet מִנְחָה֙ a meat offering minḥâ לַֽיהוָ֔ה unto the Lord. yĕhōwâ חֻקּ֥וֹת ordinance ḥuqqâ עוֹלָ֖ם by a perpetual ʿôlām תָּמִֽיד׃ continually tāmîd

וַעֲשׂ֨וּ Thus shall they prepare ʿāśâ אֶת ʾēt הַכֶּ֧בֶשׂ the lamb, kebeś וְאֶת ʾēt הַמִּנְחָ֛ה and the meat offering, minḥâ וְאֶת ʾēt הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן and the oil, šemen בַּבֹּ֣קֶר every morning bōqer בַּבֹּ֑קֶר bōqer עוֹלַ֖ת burnt offering. ʿōlâ תָּמִֽיד׃ a continual tāmîd

כֹּה Thus kō אָמַ֞ר saith ʾāmar אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ʾădōnāy יְהוִֹ֗ה God; yĕhōwâ כִּֽי If kî יִתֵּ֨ן give nātan הַנָּשִׂ֤יא the prince nāśîʾ מַתָּנָה֙ a gift mattānâ לְאִ֣ישׁ unto any ʾîš מִבָּנָ֔יו of his sons, bēn נַחֲלָת֥וֹ the inheritance naḥălâ הִ֖יא it hûʾ לְבָנָ֣יו his sons'; bēn תִּֽהְיֶ֑ה thereof shall be hāyâ אֲחֻזָּתָ֥ם their possession ʾăḥuzzâ הִ֖יא hûʾ בְּנַחֲלָֽה׃ by inheritance. naḥălâ

וְכִֽי But if kî יִתֵּ֨ן he give nātan מַתָּנָ֜ה a gift mattānâ מִנַּחֲלָת֗וֹ of his inheritance naḥălâ לְאַחַד֙ to one ʾeḥād מֵֽעֲבָדָ֔יו of his servants, ʿebed וְהָ֤יְתָה then it shall be hāyâ לּוֹ֙ עַד his to ʿad שְׁנַ֣ת the year šāne הַדְּר֔וֹר of liberty; dĕrôr וְשָׁבַ֖ת after it shall return šûb לַנָּשִׂ֑יא to the prince: nāśîʾ אַ֚ךְ but ʾak נַחֲלָת֔וֹ his inheritance naḥălâ בָּנָ֖יו his sons' for them. bēn לָהֶ֥ם hēm תִּהְיֶֽה׃ shall be hāyâ

וְלֹא shall not lōʾ יִקַּ֨ח take lāqaḥ הַנָּשִׂ֜יא Moreover the prince nāśîʾ מִנַּחֲלַ֣ת inheritance naḥălâ הָעָ֗ם of the people's ʿam לְהֽוֹנֹתָם֙ by oppression, yānâ מֵאֲחֻזָּתָ֔ם to thrust them out of their possession; ʾăḥuzzâ מֵאֲחֻזָּת֖וֹ out of his own possession: ʾăḥuzzâ יַנְחִ֣ל inheritance nāḥal אֶת he shall give ʾēt בָּנָ֑יו his sons bēn לְמַ֙עַן֙ that maʿan אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer לֹֽא be not lōʾ יָפֻ֣צוּ scattered pûṣ עַמִּ֔י my people ʿam אִ֖ישׁ every man ʾîš מֵאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃ from his possession. ʾăḥuzzâ

וַיְבִיאֵ֣נִי After he brought bôʾ בַמָּבוֹא֮ me through the entry, mābôʾ אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ʾăšer עַל at ʿal כֶּ֣תֶף the side kātēp הַשַּׁעַר֒ of the gate, šaʿar אֶל into ʾēl הַלִּשְׁכ֤וֹת chambers liškâ הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ the holy qōdeš אֶל of ʾēl הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים the priests, kōhēn הַפֹּנ֖וֹת which looked pānâ צָפ֑וֹנָה toward the north: ṣāpôn וְהִנֵּה and, behold, hinnē שָׁ֣ם there šām מָק֔וֹם a place māqôm בַּיַּרְכָתַ֖םִ on the two sides yĕrēkâ יָֽמָּה׃ westward. yām

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Then said ʾāmar אֵלַ֔י he unto ʾēl זֶ֣ה me, This ze הַמָּק֗וֹם the place māqôm אֲשֶׁ֤ר where ʾăšer יְבַשְּׁלוּ shall boil bāšal שָׁם֙ šām הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים the priests kōhēn אֶת ʾēt הָאָשָׁ֖ם the trespass offering ʾāšām וְאֶת ʾēt הַחַטָּ֑את and the sin offering, ḥaṭṭāʾâ אֲשֶׁ֤ר where ʾăšer יֹאפוּ֙ they shall bake ʾāpâ אֶת ʾēt הַמִּנְחָ֔ה the meat offering; minḥâ לְבִלְתִּ֥י not out biltî הוֹצִ֛יא that they bear yāṣāʾ אֶל into ʾēl הֶחָצֵ֥ר court, ḥāṣēr הַחִֽיצוֹנָ֖ה the utter ḥîṣôn לְקַדֵּ֥שׁ to sanctify qādaš אֶת ʾēt הָעָֽם׃ the people. ʿam

וַיּוֹצִיאֵ֗נִי Then he brought me forth yāṣāʾ אֶל into ʾēl הֶֽחָצֵר֙ court, ḥāṣēr הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה the utter ḥîṣôn וַיַּ֣עֲבִרֵ֔נִי and caused me to pass by ʿābar אֶל ʾēl אַרְבַּ֖עַת the four ʾarbaʿ מִקְצוֹעֵ֣י corners maqṣôaʿ הֶחָצֵ֑ר of the court; ḥāṣēr וְהִנֵּ֤ה and, behold, hinnē חָצֵר֙ of the court ḥāṣēr בְּמִקְצֹ֣עַ in every maqṣôaʿ הֶחָצֵ֔ר ḥāṣēr חָצֵ֖ר a court. ḥāṣēr בְּמִקְצֹ֥עַ corner maqṣôaʿ הֶחָצֵֽר׃ ḥāṣēr

בְּאַרְבַּ֜עַת In the four ʾarbaʿ מִקְצֹע֤וֹת corners maqṣôaʿ הֶֽחָצֵר֙ of the court ḥāṣēr חֲצֵר֣וֹת courts ḥāṣēr קְטֻר֔וֹת joined qāṭar אַרְבָּעִ֣ים of forty ʾarbāʿîm אֹ֔רֶךְ long ʾōrek וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים and thirty šĕlôšîm רֹ֑חַב broad: rōḥab מִדָּ֣ה measure. middâ אַחַ֔ת of one ʾeḥād לְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֖ם these four ʾarbaʿ מְׄהֻׄקְׄצָׄעֽׄוֹׄתׄ׃ corners qāṣaʿ

וְט֨וּר And a row ṭûr סָבִ֥יב round about sābîb בָּהֶ֛ם סָבִ֖יב in them, round about sābîb לְאַרְבַּעְתָּ֑ם them four, ʾarbaʿ וּמְבַשְּׁל֣וֹת with boiling places mĕbaššĕlâ עָשׂ֔וּי and made ʿāśâ מִתַּ֥חַת under taḥat הַטִּיר֖וֹת the rows ṭîrâ סָבִֽיב׃ round about. sābîb

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר Then said ʾāmar אֵלָ֑י he unto ʾēl אֵ֚לֶּה me, These ʾēlle בֵּ֣ית the places bayit הַֽמְבַשְּׁלִ֔ים of them that boil, bāšal אֲשֶׁ֧ר where ʾăšer יְבַשְּׁלוּ shall boil bāšal שָׁ֛ם šām מְשָׁרְתֵ֥י the ministers šārat הַבַּ֖יִת of the house bayit אֶת ʾēt זֶ֥בַח the sacrifice zebaḥ הָעָֽם׃ of the people. ʿam
