וְאֶת ʾēt הַמִּשְׁכָּ֥ן the tabernacle miškān תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֖ה Moreover thou shalt make ʿāśâ עֶ֣שֶׂר ten ʿeśer יְרִיעֹ֑ת curtains yĕrîʿâ שֵׁ֣שׁ linen, šēš מָשְׁזָ֗ר fine twined šāzar וּתְכֵ֤לֶת and blue, tĕkēlet וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ and purple, ʾargāmān וְתֹלַ֣עַת tôlāʿ שָׁנִ֔י and scarlet: šānî כְּרֻבִ֛ים cherubims kĕrûb מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה work maʿăśe חֹשֵׁ֖ב of cunning ḥāšab תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה shalt thou make them. ʿāśâ אֹתָֽם׃ ʾēt

אֹ֣רֶךְ׀ The length ʾōrek הַיְרִיעָ֣ה curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽאַחַ֗ת of one ʾeḥād שְׁמֹנֶ֤ה eight šĕmōne וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ and twenty ʿeśrîm בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה cubits, ʾammâ וְרֹ֙חַב֙ and the breadth rōḥab אַרְבַּ֣ע four ʾarbaʿ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה cubits: ʾammâ הַיְרִיעָ֖ה curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽאֶחָ֑ת of one ʾeḥād מִדָּ֥ה measure. middâ אַחַ֖ת shall have one ʾeḥād לְכָל and every one kōl הַיְרִיעֹֽת׃ of the curtains yĕrîʿâ

חֲמֵ֣שׁ The five ḥāmēš הַיְרִיעֹ֗ת curtains yĕrîʿâ תִּֽהְיֶ֙יןָ֙ shall be hāyâ חֹֽבְרֹ֔ת coupled together ḥābar אִשָּׁ֖ה one ʾiššâ אֶל to ʾēl אֲחֹתָ֑הּ another; ʾāḥôt וְחָמֵ֤שׁ and five ḥāmēš יְרִיעֹת֙ curtains yĕrîʿâ חֹֽבְרֹ֔ת coupled ḥābar אִשָּׁ֖ה one ʾiššâ אֶל to ʾēl אֲחֹתָֽהּ׃ another. ʾāḥôt

וְעָשִׂ֜יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ לֻֽלְאֹ֣ת loops lulāʾâ תְּכֵ֗לֶת of blue tĕkēlet עַ֣ל upon ʿal שְׂפַ֤ת the edge śāpâ הַיְרִיעָה֙ curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת of the one ʾeḥād מִקָּצָ֖ה from the selvedge qāṣâ בַּֽחֹבָ֑רֶת in the coupling; ḥōberet וְכֵ֤ן and likewise kēn תַּֽעֲשֶׂה֙ shalt thou make ʿāśâ בִּשְׂפַ֣ת edge śāpâ הַיְרִיעָ֔ה of curtain, yĕrîʿâ הַקִּ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה in the uttermost qîṣôn בַּמַּחְבֶּ֖רֶת in the coupling maḥberet הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ of the second. šēnî

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים Fifty ḥămiššîm לֻֽלָאֹ֗ת loops lulāʾâ תַּֽעֲשֶׂה֮ shalt thou make ʿāśâ בַּיְרִיעָ֣ה curtain, yĕrîʿâ הָֽאֶחָת֒ in the one ʾeḥād וַֽחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים and fifty ḥămiššîm לֻֽלָאֹ֗ת loops lulāʾâ תַּֽעֲשֶׂה֙ shalt thou make ʿāśâ בִּקְצֵ֣ה in the edge qāṣe הַיְרִיעָ֔ה of the curtain yĕrîʿâ אֲשֶׁ֖ר that ʾăšer בַּמַּחְבֶּ֣רֶת in the coupling maḥberet הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית of the second; šēnî מַקְבִּילֹת֙ may take hold qābal הַלֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת that the loops lulāʾâ אִשָּׁ֖ה one ʾiššâ אֶל of ʾēl אֲחֹתָֽהּ׃ another. ʾāḥôt

וְעָשִׂ֕יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים fifty ḥămiššîm קַרְסֵ֣י taches qeres זָהָ֑ב of gold, zāhāb וְחִבַּרְתָּ֙ and couple ḥābar אֶת ʾēt הַיְרִיעֹ֜ת the curtains yĕrîʿâ אִשָּׁ֤ה together ʾiššâ אֶל ʾēl אֲחֹתָהּ֙ with ʾāḥôt בַּקְּרָסִ֔ים the taches: qeres וְהָיָ֥ה and it shall be hāyâ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן tabernacle. miškān אֶחָֽד׃ one ʾeḥād

וְעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ יְרִיעֹ֣ת curtains yĕrîʿâ עִזִּ֔ים goats' ʿēz לְאֹ֖הֶל to be a covering ʾōhel עַל upon ʿal הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן the tabernacle: miškān עַשְׁתֵּי eleven ʿaštê עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה ʿāśār יְרִיעֹ֖ת curtains yĕrîʿâ תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה shalt thou make. ʿāśâ אֹתָֽם׃ ʾēt

אֹ֣רֶךְ׀ The length ʾōrek הַיְרִיעָ֣ה curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽאַחַ֗ת of one ʾeḥād שְׁלֹשִׁים֙ thirty šĕlôšîm בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה cubits, ʾammâ וְרֹ֙חַב֙ and the breadth rōḥab אַרְבַּ֣ע four ʾarbaʿ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה cubits: ʾammâ הַיְרִיעָ֖ה curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽאֶחָ֑ת of one ʾeḥād מִדָּ֣ה measure. middâ אַחַ֔ת of one ʾeḥād לְעַשְׁתֵּ֥י and the eleven ʿaštê עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה ʿāśār יְרִיעֹֽת׃ curtains yĕrîʿâ

וְחִבַּרְתָּ֞ And thou shalt couple ḥābar אֶת ʾēt חֲמֵ֤שׁ five ḥāmēš הַיְרִיעֹת֙ curtains yĕrîʿâ לְבָ֔ד by themselves, bad וְאֶת ʾēt שֵׁ֥שׁ and six šēš הַיְרִיעֹ֖ת curtains yĕrîʿâ לְבָ֑ד by themselves, bad וְכָֽפַלְתָּ֙ and shalt double kāpal אֶת ʾēt הַיְרִיעָ֣ה curtain yĕrîʿâ הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔ית the sixth šiššî אֶל ʾēl מ֖וּל in the forefront mûl פְּנֵ֥י pānîm הָאֹֽהֶל׃ of the tabernacle. ʾōhel

וְעָשִׂ֜יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים fifty ḥămiššîm לֻֽלָאֹ֗ת loops lulāʾâ עַ֣ל on ʿal שְׂפַ֤ת the edge śāpâ הַיְרִיעָה֙ curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת of the one ʾeḥād הַקִּֽיצֹנָ֖ה outmost qîṣôn בַּֽחֹבָ֑רֶת in the coupling, ḥōberet וַֽחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים and fifty ḥămiššîm לֻֽלָאֹ֗ת loops lulāʾâ עַ֚ל in ʿal שְׂפַ֣ת the edge śāpâ הַיְרִיעָ֔ה of the curtain yĕrîʿâ הַֽחֹבֶ֖רֶת which coupleth ḥōberet הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ the second. šēnî

וְעָשִׂ֛יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ קַרְסֵ֥י taches qeres נְחֹ֖שֶׁת of brass, nĕḥōšet חֲמִשִּׁ֑ים fifty ḥămiššîm וְהֵֽבֵאתָ֤ and put bôʾ אֶת ʾēt הַקְּרָסִים֙ the taches qeres בַּלֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת into the loops, lulāʾâ וְחִבַּרְתָּ֥ and couple ḥābar אֶת ʾēt הָאֹ֖הֶל the tent ʾōhel וְהָיָ֥ה together, that it may be hāyâ אֶחָֽד׃ one. ʾeḥād

וְסֶ֙רַח֙ And the remnant seraḥ הָֽעֹדֵ֔ף that remaineth ʿădap בִּֽירִיעֹ֖ת of the curtains yĕrîʿâ הָאֹ֑הֶל of the tent, ʾōhel חֲצִ֤י the half ḥēṣî הַיְרִיעָה֙ curtain yĕrîʿâ הָֽעֹדֶ֔פֶת that remaineth, ʿădap תִּסְרַ֕ח shall hang sāraḥ עַ֖ל over ʿal אֲחֹרֵ֥י the backside ʾāḥôr הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ of the tabernacle. miškān

וְהָֽאַמָּ֨ה And a cubit ʾammâ מִזֶּ֜ה on the one side, ze וְהָֽאַמָּ֤ה and a cubit ʾammâ מִזֶּה֙ on the other side ze בָּֽעֹדֵ֔ף of that which remaineth ʿădap בְּאֹ֖רֶךְ in the length ʾōrek יְרִיעֹ֣ת of the curtains yĕrîʿâ הָאֹ֑הֶל of the tent, ʾōhel יִֽהְיֶ֨ה it shall hāyâ סָר֜וּחַ hang sāraḥ עַל over ʿal צִדֵּ֧י the sides ṣad הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן of the tabernacle miškān מִזֶּ֥ה on this side ze וּמִזֶּ֖ה and on that side, ze לְכַסֹּתֽוֹ׃ to cover it. kāsâ

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ מִכְסֶה֙ a covering mikse לָאֹ֔הֶל for the tent ʾōhel עֹרֹ֥ת skins ʿôr אֵילִ֖ם rams' ʾayil מְאָדָּמִ֑ים dyed red, ʾādam וּמִכְסֵ֛ה and a covering mikse עֹרֹ֥ת skins. ʿôr תְּחָשִׁ֖ים badgers' taḥaš מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ above maʿal

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ אֶת ʾēt הַקְּרָשִׁ֖ים boards qereš לַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן for the tabernacle miškān עֲצֵ֥י wood ʿēṣ שִׁטִּ֖ים shittim šiṭṭâ עֹֽמְדִֽים׃ standing up. ʿāmad

עֶ֥שֶׂר Ten ʿeśer אַמּ֖וֹת cubits ʾammâ אֹ֣רֶךְ the length ʾōrek הַקָּ֑רֶשׁ of a board, qereš וְאַמָּה֙ and a cubit ʾammâ וַֽחֲצִ֣י and a half ḥēṣî הָֽאַמָּ֔ה ʾammâ רֹ֖חַב the breadth rōḥab הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ board. qereš הָֽאֶחָֽד׃ of one ʾeḥād

שְׁתֵּ֣י Two šĕnayim יָד֗וֹת tenons yād לַקֶּ֙רֶשׁ֙ board, qereš הָֽאֶחָ֔ד in one ʾeḥād מְשֻׁלָּבֹ֔ת set in order šālab אִשָּׁ֖ה one ʾiššâ אֶל against ʾēl אֲחֹתָ֑הּ another: ʾāḥôt כֵּ֣ן thus kēn תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה shalt thou make ʿāśâ לְכֹ֖ל for all kōl קַרְשֵׁ֥י the boards qereš הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ of the tabernacle. miškān

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ אֶת ʾēt הַקְּרָשִׁ֖ים the boards qereš לַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן for the tabernacle, miškān עֶשְׂרִ֣ים twenty ʿeśrîm קֶ֔רֶשׁ boards qereš לִפְאַ֖ת side pēʾâ נֶ֥גְבָּה on the south negeb תֵימָֽנָה׃ southward. têmān

וְאַרְבָּעִים֙ forty ʾarbāʿîm אַדְנֵי sockets ʾeden כֶ֔סֶף of silver kesep תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֕ה And thou shalt make ʿāśâ תַּ֖חַת under taḥat עֶשְׂרִ֣ים the twenty ʿeśrîm הַקָּ֑רֶשׁ boards; qereš שְׁנֵ֨י two šĕnayim אֲדָנִ֜ים sockets ʾeden תַּֽחַת under taḥat הַקֶּ֤רֶשׁ board qereš הָֽאֶחָד֙ one ʾeḥād לִשְׁתֵּ֣י for his two šĕnayim יְדֹתָ֔יו tenons, yād וּשְׁנֵ֧י and two šĕnayim אֲדָנִ֛ים sockets ʾeden תַּֽחַת under taḥat הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ board qereš הָֽאֶחָ֖ד another ʾeḥād לִשְׁתֵּ֥י for his two šĕnayim יְדֹתָֽיו׃ tenons. yād

וּלְצֶ֧לַע side ṣēlāʿ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן of the tabernacle miškān הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית And for the second šēnî לִפְאַ֣ת side pēʾâ צָפ֑וֹן on the north ṣāpôn עֶשְׂרִ֖ים twenty ʿeśrîm קָֽרֶשׁ׃ boards: qereš

וְאַרְבָּעִ֥ים And their forty ʾarbāʿîm אַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם sockets ʾeden כָּ֑סֶף silver; kesep שְׁנֵ֣י two šĕnayim אֲדָנִ֗ים sockets ʾeden תַּ֚חַת under taḥat הַקֶּ֣רֶשׁ board, qereš הָֽאֶחָ֔ד one ʾeḥād וּשְׁנֵ֣י and two šĕnayim אֲדָנִ֔ים sockets ʾeden תַּ֖חַת under taḥat הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ board. qereš הָֽאֶחָֽד׃ another ʾeḥād

וּֽלְיַרְכְּתֵ֥י And for the sides yĕrēkâ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן of the tabernacle miškān יָ֑מָּה westward yām תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֖ה thou shalt make ʿāśâ שִׁשָּׁ֥ה six šēš קְרָשִֽׁים׃ boards. qereš

וּשְׁנֵ֤י And two šĕnayim קְרָשִׁים֙ boards qereš תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה shalt thou make ʿāśâ לִמְקֻצְעֹ֖ת for the corners mĕquṣʿâ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן of the tabernacle miškān בַּיַּרְכָתָֽיִם׃ in the two sides. yĕrēkâ

וְיִֽהְי֣וּ And they shall be hāyâ תֹֽאֲמִם֮ coupled together tāʾam מִלְּמַטָּה֒ beneath, maṭṭâ וְיַחְדָּ֗ו together yaḥad יִֽהְי֤וּ and they shall be hāyâ תַמִּים֙ coupled tāʾam עַל above ʿal רֹאשׁ֔וֹ the head rōš אֶל of it unto ʾēl הַטַּבַּ֖עַת ring: ṭabbaʿat הָֽאֶחָ֑ת one ʾeḥād כֵּ֚ן thus kēn יִֽהְיֶ֣ה shall it be hāyâ לִשְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם for them both; šĕnayim לִשְׁנֵ֥י for the two šĕnayim הַמִּקְצֹעֹ֖ת corners. maqṣôaʿ יִֽהְיֽוּ׃ they shall be hāyâ

וְהָיוּ֙ And they shall be hāyâ שְׁמֹנָ֣ה eight šĕmōne קְרָשִׁ֔ים boards, qereš וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֣ם and their sockets ʾeden כֶּ֔סֶף silver, kesep שִׁשָּׁ֥ה sixteen šēš עָשָׂ֖ר ʿāśār אֲדָנִ֑ים sockets; ʾeden שְׁנֵ֣י two šĕnayim אֲדָנִ֗ים sockets ʾeden תַּ֚חַת under taḥat הַקֶּ֣רֶשׁ board, qereš הָֽאֶחָ֔ד one ʾeḥād וּשְׁנֵ֣י and two šĕnayim אֲדָנִ֔ים sockets ʾeden תַּ֖חַת under taḥat הַקֶּ֥רֶשׁ board. qereš הָֽאֶחָֽד׃ another ʾeḥād

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ בְרִיחִ֖ם bars bĕrîaḥ עֲצֵ֣י wood; ʿēṣ שִׁטִּ֑ים shittim šiṭṭâ חֲמִשָּׁ֕ה five ḥāmēš לְקַרְשֵׁ֥י for the boards qereš צֶֽלַע side ṣēlāʿ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן of the tabernacle, miškān הָֽאֶחָֽד׃ of the one ʾeḥād

וַֽחֲמִשָּׁ֣ה And five ḥāmēš בְרִיחִ֔ם bars bĕrîaḥ לְקַרְשֵׁ֥י for the boards qereš צֶֽלַע side ṣēlāʿ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן of the tabernacle, miškān הַשֵּׁנִ֑ית of the other šēnî וַֽחֲמִשָּׁ֣ה and five ḥāmēš בְרִיחִ֗ם bars bĕrîaḥ לְקַרְשֵׁי֙ for the boards qereš צֶ֣לַע of the side ṣēlāʿ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן of the tabernacle, miškān לַיַּרְכָתַ֖יִם for the two sides yĕrēkâ יָֽמָּה׃ westward. yām

וְהַבְּרִ֥יחַ bar bĕrîaḥ הַתִּיכֹ֖ן And the middle tîkôn בְּת֣וֹךְ in the midst tāwek הַקְּרָשִׁ֑ים of the boards qereš מַבְרִ֕חַ shall reach bāraḥ מִן from min הַקָּצֶ֖ה end qāṣe אֶל to ʾēl הַקָּצֶֽה׃ end. qāṣe

וְֽאֶת ʾēt הַקְּרָשִׁ֞ים the boards qereš תְּצַפֶּ֣ה And thou shalt overlay ṣāpâ זָהָ֗ב with gold, zāhāb וְאֶת ʾēt טַבְּעֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ their rings ṭabbaʿat תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה and make ʿāśâ זָהָ֔ב gold zāhāb בָּתִּ֖ים places bayit לַבְּרִיחִ֑ם for the bars: bĕrîaḥ וְצִפִּיתָ֥ and thou shalt overlay ṣāpâ אֶת ʾēt הַבְּרִיחִ֖ם the bars bĕrîaḥ זָהָֽב׃ with gold. zāhāb

וַהֲקֵֽמֹתָ֖ And thou shalt rear up qûm אֶת ʾēt הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן the tabernacle miškān כְּמִ֨שְׁפָּט֔וֹ according to the fashion mišpāṭ אֲשֶׁ֥ר thereof which ʾăšer הָרְאֵ֖יתָ was shewed rāʾâ בָּהָֽר׃ thee in the mount. har

וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ פָרֹ֗כֶת a vail pōreket תְּכֵ֧לֶת blue, tĕkēlet וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן and purple, ʾargāmān וְתוֹלַ֥עַת tôlāʿ שָׁנִ֖י and scarlet, šānî וְשֵׁ֣שׁ linen šēš מָשְׁזָ֑ר and fine twined šāzar מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥ה work: maʿăśe חֹשֵׁ֛ב of cunning ḥāšab יַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה shall it be made: ʿāśâ אֹתָ֖הּ ʾēt כְּרֻבִֽים׃ with cherubims kĕrûb

וְנָֽתַתָּ֣ה And thou shalt hang nātan אֹתָ֗הּ ʾēt עַל it upon ʿal אַרְבָּעָה֙ four ʾarbaʿ עַמּוּדֵ֣י pillars ʿammûd שִׁטִּ֔ים of shittim šiṭṭâ מְצֻפִּ֣ים overlaid ṣāpâ זָהָ֔ב with gold: zāhāb וָֽוֵיהֶ֖ם their hooks wāw זָהָ֑ב gold, zāhāb עַל upon ʿal אַרְבָּעָ֖ה the four ʾarbaʿ אַדְנֵי sockets ʾeden כָֽסֶף׃ of silver. kesep

וְנָֽתַתָּ֣ה And thou shalt hang up nātan אֶת ʾēt הַפָּרֹכֶת֮ the vail pōreket תַּ֣חַת under taḥat הַקְּרָסִים֒ the taches, qeres וְהֵֽבֵאתָ֥ that thou mayest bring in bôʾ שָׁ֙מָּה֙ thither šām מִבֵּ֣ית within bayit לַפָּרֹ֔כֶת the vail pōreket אֵ֖ת ʾēt אֲר֣וֹן the ark ʾārôn הָֽעֵד֑וּת of the testimony: ʿēdût וְהִבְדִּילָ֤ה shall divide bādal הַפָּרֹ֙כֶת֙ and the vail pōreket לָכֶ֔ם בֵּ֣ין unto you between bên הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ the holy qōdeš וּבֵ֖ין bên קֹ֥דֶשׁ and the most qōdeš הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ holy. qōdeš

וְנָֽתַתָּ֙ And thou shalt put nātan אֶת ʾēt הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת the mercy seat kappōret עַ֖ל upon ʿal אֲר֣וֹן the ark ʾārôn הָֽעֵדֻ֑ת of the testimony ʿēdût בְּקֹ֖דֶשׁ in the most qōdeš הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ holy qōdeš

וְשַׂמְתָּ֤ And thou shalt set śûm אֶת ʾēt הַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ the table šulḥān מִח֣וּץ without ḥûṣ לַפָּרֹ֔כֶת the vail, pōreket וְאֶת ʾēt הַמְּנֹרָה֙ and the candlestick mĕnôrâ נֹ֣כַח over against nōkaḥ הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן the table šulḥān עַ֛ל on ʿal צֶ֥לַע the side ṣēlāʿ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן of the tabernacle miškān תֵּימָ֑נָה toward the south: têmān וְהַ֨שֻּׁלְחָ֔ן the table šulḥān תִּתֵּ֖ן and thou shalt put nātan עַל on ʿal צֶ֥לַע side. ṣēlāʿ צָפֽוֹן׃ the north ṣāpôn

וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ And thou shalt make ʿāśâ מָסָךְ֙ an hanging māsok לְפֶ֣תַח for the door petaḥ הָאֹ֔הֶל of the tent, ʾōhel תְּכֵ֧לֶת blue, tĕkēlet וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן and purple, ʾargāmān וְתוֹלַ֥עַת and scarlet, tôlāʿ שָׁנִ֖י šānî וְשֵׁ֣שׁ linen, šēš מָשְׁזָ֑ר and fine twined šāzar מַֽעֲשֵׂ֖ה wrought maʿăśe רֹקֵֽם׃ with needlework. rāqam
