யாத்திராகமம் 24:7
உடன்படிக்கையின் புஸ்தகத்தை எடுத்து, ஜனங்களின் காதுகேட்க வாசித்தான்; அவர்கள் கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியெல்லாம் செய்து, கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

விசேஷ உடன்படிக்கை பொருந்திய சுருளை எல்லா ஜனங்களும் கேட்கும்படியாக மோசே வாசித்தான். அதைக் கேட்டதும் ஜனங்கள், “கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த சட்டங்களைக் கேட்டோம். அவற்றிற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய சம்மதிக்கிறோம்” என்றார்கள்.

And he took וַיִּקַּח֙ lāqaḥ la-KAHK
the book סֵ֣פֶר sēper say-FER
of the covenant, הַבְּרִ֔ית bĕrît beh-REET
and read וַיִּקְרָ֖א qārāʾ ka-RA
in the audience בְּאָזְנֵ֣י ʾōzen oh-ZEN
of the people: הָעָ֑ם ʿam am
and they said, וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
All כֹּ֛ל kōl kole
that אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
hath said דִּבֶּ֥ר dābar da-VAHR
the Lord יְהוָ֖ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
will we do, נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה ʿāśâ ah-SA
and be obedient. וְנִשְׁמָֽע׃ šāmaʿ sha-MA
