Job 11 in Tamil

1 அப்பொழுது நாகமாத்தியனாகிய சோப்பார் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

2 ஏராளமான வார்த்தைகளுக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லவேண்டாமோ? வாய்ச்சாலகன் நீதிமானாய் விளங்குவானோ? Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?

3 உம்முடைய வீம்புவார்த்தைகளுக்கு மனுஷர் மவுனமாயிருப்பார்களோ? நீர் பரியாசம்பண்ணும்போது, ஒருவரும் உம்மை வெட்கப்படுத்தவேண்டாமோ? Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

4 என் சொல் சுத்தம் என்றும், நான் தேவரீருடைய பார்வைக்குத் துப்புரவானவன் என்றும் நீர் சொல்லுகிறீர். For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

5 ஆனாலும் தேவன் பேசி, உமக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தம்முடைய உதடுகளைத் திறந்து, But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

6 உமக்கு ஞானத்தின் இரகசியங்களை வெளிப்படுத்தினால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; உள்ளபடி பார்த்தால் அது இரட்டிப்புள்ளதாயிருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் உம்முடைய அக்கிரமத்திற்கேற்றபடி தேவன் உம்மைத் தண்டிக்கவில்லையென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளும். And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

7 தேவனுடைய அந்தரங்க ஞானத்தை நீர் ஆராய்ந்து, சர்வல்லவருடைய சம்பூரணத்தை நீர் அறியக்கூடுமோ? Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

8 அது வானபரியந்தம் உயர்ந்தது; உம்மால் என்ன ஆகும்? அது பாதாளத்திலும் ஆழமானது, நீர் அறியக்கூடியது என்ன? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

9 அதின் அளவு பூமியைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீளமும் சமுத்திரத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் அகலமுமாயிருக்கிறது. The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

10 அவர் பிடித்தாலும், அவர் அடைத்தாலும் அவர் நியாயத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து நிறுத்தினாலும், அவரைத் தடைபண்ணுகிறவன் யார்? If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

11 மனுஷருடைய மாயத்தை அவர் அறிவார்; அக்கிரமத்தை அவர் கண்டும், அதைக் கவனியாதிருப்பாரோ? For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

12 புத்தியில்லாத மனுஷன் காட்டுக்கழுதைக்குட்டிக்கு ஒப்பாகப் பிறந்திருந்தாலும், பெருநெஞ்சுள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறான். For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.

13 நீர் உம்முடைய இருதயத்தை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, உம்முடைய கைகளை அவருக்கு நேராக விரித்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும். If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

14 உம்முடைய கையிலே அக்கிரமமிருந்தால் அதைத் தூரத்தில் அகற்றிவிட்டு, அநியாயம் உம்முடைய கூடாரங்களில் வாசமாயிருக்கவொட்டாதிரும். If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

15 அப்பொழுது உம்முடைய முகத்தை மாசில்லாமல் ஏறெடுத்து, பயப்படாமல் திடன்கொண்டிருப்பீர். For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

16 அப்பொழுது நீர் வருத்தத்தை மறந்து, கடந்துபோன தண்ணீரைப்போல அதை நினைப்பீர். Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:

17 அப்பொழுது உம்முடைய ஆயுசுகாலம் பட்டப்பகலைப்பார்க்கிலும் பிரகாசமாயிருக்கும்; இருள் அடைந்த நீர் விடியற்காலத்தைப்போலிருப்பீர். And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.

18 நம்பிக்கை உண்டாயிருக்கிறதினால் திடனாயிருப்பீர்; தோண்டி ஆராய்ந்து சுகமாய்ப் படுத்துக்கொள்வீர். And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

19 பயப்படுத்துவாரில்லாமல் நித்திரை செய்வீர், அநேகர் முகத்தை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுவார்கள். Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

20 துன்மார்க்கருடைய கண்கள் பூத்துப்போய், அவர்கள் அடைக்கலமானவர்களை விட்டொழிந்து, அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை சாகிறவன் சுவாசம்போல ஒழிந்துபோகும் என்றான். But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.

1 Appoluthu naakamaaththiyanaakiya soppaar pirathiyuththaramaaka: Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

2 Aeraalamaana vaarththaikalukku uththaravu sollavaenndaamo? Vaaychchaாlakan neethimaanaay vilanguvaano? Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?

3 Ummutaiya veempuvaarththaikalukku manushar mavunamaayiruppaarkalo? Neer pariyaasampannnumpothu, oruvarum ummai vetkappaduththavaenndaamo? Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

4 En sol suththam entum, naan thaevareerutaiya paarvaikkuth thuppuravaanavan entum neer sollukireer. For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

5 Aanaalum Dhevan paesi, umakku virothamaayth thammutaiya uthadukalaith thiranthu, But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

6 Umakku njaanaththin irakasiyangalai velippaduththinaal nalamaayirukkum; ullapati paarththaal athu irattippullathaayirukkirathu; aakaiyaal ummutaiya akkiramaththirkaettapati Dhevan ummaith thanntikkavillaiyentu arinthukollum. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

7 Thaevanutaiya antharanga njaanaththai neer aaraaynthu, sarvallavarutaiya sampooranaththai neer ariyakkoodumo? Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

8 Athu vaanapariyantham uyarnthathu; ummaal enna aakum? Athu paathaalaththilum aalamaanathu, neer ariyakkootiyathu enna? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

9 Athin alavu poomiyaippaarkkilum neelamum samuththiraththaippaarkkilum akalamumaayirukkirathu. The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

10 Avar pitiththaalum, avar ataiththaalum avar niyaayaththil konnduvanthu niraுththinaalum, avaraith thataipannnukiravan yaar? If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

11 Manusharutaiya maayaththai avar arivaar; akkiramaththai avar kanndum, athaik kavaniyaathiruppaaro? For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

12 Puththiyillaatha manushan kaattukkaluthaikkuttikku oppaakap piranthirunthaalum, perunenjullavanaayirukkiraan. For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.

13 Neer ummutaiya iruthayaththai aayaththappaduththi, ummutaiya kaikalai avarukku naeraaka viriththaal nalamaayirukkum. If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

14 Ummutaiya kaiyilae akkiramamirunthaal athaith thooraththil akattivittu, aniyaayam ummutaiya koodaarangalil vaasamaayirukkavottathirum. If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

15 Appoluthu ummutaiya mukaththai maasillaamal aeraெduththu, payappadaamal thidankonntiruppeer. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

16 Appoluthu neer varuththaththai maranthu, kadanthupona thannnneeraippola athai ninaippeer. Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:

17 Appoluthu ummutaiya aayusukaalam pattappakalaippaarkkilum pirakaasamaayirukkum; irul ataintha neer vitiyarkaalaththaippoliruppeer. And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.

18 Nampikkai unndaayirukkirathinaal thidanaayiruppeer; thonnti aaraaynthu sukamaayp paduththukkolveer. And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

19 Payappaduththuvaarillaamal niththirai seyveer, anaekar mukaththai Nnokki vinnnappampannnuvaarkal. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

20 Thunmaarkkarutaiya kannkal pooththuppoy, avarkal ataikkalamaanavarkalai vittaொlinthu, avarkal nampikkai saakiravan suvaasampola olinthupokum entan. But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
