அப்பொழுது, கர்த்தர் அமத்சியாவின்மேல் கோபமூண்டவராகி, அவனிடத்துக்கு ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை அனுப்பினார்; இவன் அவனை நோக்கி: தங்கள் ஜனத்தை உமது கைக்குத் தப்புவிக்காதேபோன ஜனத்தின் தெய்வங்களை நீர் நாடுவானேன் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது, கர்த்தர் அமத்சியாவின்மேல் கோபப்பட்டு, அவனிடத்திற்கு ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை அனுப்பினார்; இவன் அவனை நோக்கி: தங்கள் மக்களை உமது கைக்குத் தப்புவிக்காமற்போன மக்களின் தெய்வங்களை நீர் ஏன் நம்பவேண்டும் என்றான்.

அதனால் அமத்சியாவின் மேல் கர்த்தருக்குக் கோபம் உண்டானது. அவர் அவனிடம் ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை அனுப்பினார். அத்தீர்க்கதரிசி, “அமத்சியா, அந்த ஜனங்கள் தொழுது கொண்ட தெய்வங்களை நீ ஏன் தொழுதுகொள்கிறாய்? அத்தெய்வங்களால் அவர்களை உன்னிடம் Ԕஇருந்து காப்பாற்ற முடியவில்லையே!” என்றான்.
