Malachi 1:13 তোমরা এও বলো, কি আপদ! সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু এই কথা বলেন, তোমরা এমন পশু উত্সর্গ করার জন্য উপহার স্বরূপ নিয়ে আস যা চুরি করা, খোঁড়া অথবা অসুস্থ| তোমাদের হাতে করে আনা এই উপহার কি আমি গ্রহণ করব?” প্রভু এই কথাগুলি বলেন|
King James Version (KJV) Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
