அப்பொழுது தன் தாயின் வயிற்றிலிருந்து சப்பாணியாய்ப் பிறந்த ஒரு மனுஷனைச் சுமந்துகொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; தேவாலயத்திலே பிரவேசிக்கிறவர்களிடத்தில் பிச்சைகேட்கும்படி, நாடோறும் அலங்கார வாசல் என்னப்பட்ட தேவாலய வாசலண்டையிலே வைப்பார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது பிறவியிலேயே சப்பாணியாகப் பிறந்த ஒரு மனிதனை சுமந்துகொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; ஆலயத்திற்குள் வருகிறவர்களிடத்தில் பிச்சைகேட்கும்படி, அனுதினமும் அவனை அலங்காரவாசல் என்னப்பட்ட தேவாலய வாசலருகில் வைப்பார்கள்.

அவர்கள் தேவாலயத்தின் முற்றத்தில் போய்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, ஒரு மனிதன் அங்கிருந்தான். அவன் பிறந்தது முதல் ஊனமுற்றவனாக இருந்தான். அவனால் நடக்க முடியாததால் அவனது நண்பர்கள் சிலர் அவனைச் சுமந்து வந்தனர். அவனது நண்பர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் அவனை தேவாலயத்துக்கு அழைத்து வந்தனர். அவர்கள் ஊனமுற்ற மனிதனை தேவாலயத்துக்கு வெளியே ஒரு பெருங்கதவின் அருகே உட்கார வைத்தனர். அது அலங்கார வாசல் என அழைக்கப்பட்டது. தேவாலயத்துக்குள் போகும் அனைவரிடமும் அம்மனிதன் பணத்திற்காகப் பிச்சை கேட்டான்.

அப்பொழுது தன் தாயின் வயிற்றிலிருந்து சப்பாணியாய்ப் பிறந்த ஒரு மனுஷனைச் சுமந்துகொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; தேவாலயத்திலே பிரவேசிக்கிறவர்களிடத்தில் பிச்சைகேட்கும்படி, நாடோறும் அலங்கார வாசல் என்னப்பட்ட தேவாலய வாசலண்டையிலே வைப்பார்கள்.
