Acts 28 in Tamil

1 நாங்கள் தப்பிக் கரைசேர்ந்தபின்பு, அந்தத் தீவின்பேர் மெலித்தா என்று அறிந்தோம். And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.

2 அந்நியராகிய அந்தத் தீவார் எங்களுக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு கொஞ்சமல்ல. அந்த வேளையிலே பிடித்திருந்த மழைக்காகவும் குளிருக்காகவும் அவர்கள் நெருப்பை மூட்டி, எங்கள் அனைவரையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டார்கள். And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

5 அவன் அந்தப் பூச்சியைத் தீயிலே உதறிப்போட்டு, ஒரு தீங்கும் அடையாதிருந்தான். And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.

And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

12 சீரகூசா பட்டணத்தைச் சேர்ந்து, அங்கே மூன்றுநாள் தங்கினோம். And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.

13 அவ்விடம் விட்டுச் சுற்றியோடி, ரேகியு துறைமுகத்துக்கு வந்து சேர்ந்தோம். மறுநாளில் தென்றற் காற்றெடுக்கையில் புறப்பட்டு, இரண்டாம் நாள் புத்தேயோலி பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்து, And from thence we fetched a compass, and came to Rhegium: and after one day the south wind blew, and we came the next day to Puteoli:

14 அங்கே சகோதரரைக் கண்டோம்; அவர்கள் எங்களை ஏழுநாள் தங்களிடத்தில் இருக்கும்படி வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்; அந்தப்படி நாங்கள் இருந்து பின்பு ரோமாபுரிக்குப் போனோம். Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.

And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.

20 இந்தக் காரியத்தினிமித்தமே உங்களைக் காணவும் உங்களுடனே பேசவும் உங்களை அழைப்பித்தேன். இஸ்ரவேலுடைய நம்பிக்கைக்காகவே இந்தச் சங்கிலியால் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன் என்றான். For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

21 அதற்கு அவர்கள் உன்னைக்குறித்து யூதேயாவிலிருந்து எங்களுக்குக் காகிதம் வரவுமில்லை, வந்த சகோதரரில் ஒருவனும் உன்பேரில் ஒரு பொல்லாங்கை அறிவித்ததுமில்லை, அதைப்பற்றிப் பேசினதுமில்லை. And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.

22 எங்கும் இந்த மதபேதத்துக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறதாக நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியால், இதைக்குறித்து உன்னுடைய அபிப்பிராயம் என்னவென்று கேட்டறிய விரும்புகிறோம் என்றார்கள். But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.

23 அதற்காக அவர்கள் ஒரு நாளைக்குறித்து, அநேகம்பேர் அவன் தங்கியிருந்த வீட்டிற்கு அவனிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள். அவன் காலமே தொடங்கி சாயங்காலமட்டும் மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் ஆகமங்களிலும் இருந்து இயேசுவுக்கடுத்த விசேஷங்களை அவர்களுக்குப் போதித்து, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைக் குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுத்து விஸ்தரித்துப் பேசினான். And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

24 அவன் சொன்னவைகளைச் சிலர் விசுவாசித்தார்கள், சிலர் விசுவாசியாதிருந்தார்கள். And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

25 இப்படி அவர்கள் ஒருவரோடொருவர் ஒவ்வாமலிருந்து, புறப்பட்டுப்போகையில், பவுல் அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்ன வாக்கியமாவது: And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

26 நீங்கள் காதாரக்கேட்டும் உணராதிருப்பீர்கள், கண்ணாரக்கண்டும் பாராதிருப்பீர்கள் Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

27 இவர்கள் கண்களினால் காணாமலும், காதுகளினால் கேளாமலும், இருதயத்தினால் உணர்ந்து குணப்படாமலும், நான் இவர்களை ஆரோக்கியமாக்காமலும் இருக்கும்படிக்கு, இந்த ஜனத்தின் இருதயம் கொழுத்திருக்கிறது; காதுகளினால் மந்தமாய்க் கேட்டுத் தங்கள் கண்களை மூடிக்கொண்டார்கள் என்று இந்த ஜனத்தினிடத்தில் போய்ச் சொல்லு என்பதைப் பரிசுத்த ஆவி ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியைக்கொண்டு நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுடனே நன்றாய்ச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

28 ஆதலால் தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பு புறஜாதியாருக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறதென்றும், அவர்கள் அதற்குச் செவிகொடுப்பார்களென்றும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கக்கடவது என்றான். Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

29 இப்படி அவன் சொன்னபின்பு, யூதர்கள் தங்களுக்குள்ளே மிகவும் தர்க்கம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டு, போய்விட்டார்கள். And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

31 மிகுந்த தைரியத்துடனே தடையில்லாமல், தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைக் குறித்துப் பிரசங்கித்து, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய விசேஷங்களை உபதேசித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான். Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

2 Anniyaraakiya anthath theevaar engalukkup paaraattina anpu konjamalla. Antha vaelaiyilae pitiththiruntha malaikkaakavum kulirukkaakavum avarkal neruppai mootti, engal anaivaraiyum serththukkonndaarkal. And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

4 Vishappoochchi avan kaiyilae thongukirathai anniyaraakiya anthath theevaar kanndapothu, intha manushan kolaipaathakan, itharkuch santhaekamillai; ivan samuththiraththukkuth thappivanthum, paliyaanathu ivanaip pilaikkavottavillaiyentu thangalukkullae sollikkonndaarkal. 6 Avanukku veekkanganndu, allathu avan satithiyaay vilunthu saavaanentu avarkal paarththukkonntirunthaarkal; nedunaeramaayp paarththukkonntirunthum, oru sethamum avanukku varaathathaik kanndapothu, vaeraு sinthaiyaaki, ivan thaevanentu sollikkonndaarkal. 8 Pupiliyuvinutaiya thakappan juraththinaalum iraththapaethiyinaalum varuththappattuk kidanthaan; pavul avanidaththirkup poy Jebampannnni, avanmael kaikalai vaiththu, avanaik kunamaakkinaan. 10 Avarkal engalukku anaeka mariyaathai seythu, naangal kappal aerippokirapothu engalukkuth thaevaiyaanavaikalai aettinaarkal. Who also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary.

11 Moontumaatham sentapinpu, antha theevilae malaikaalaththirkuth thangiyiruntha mithunam ennum ataiyaalamutaiya aleksanthiriyaa pattanaththuk kappalilae naangal aerip purappattu, And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

15 Avvidaththilulla sakothararkal naangal varukira seythiyaik kaelvippattu, silar appiyupuramvaraikkum, silar moontu saththiramvaraikkum, engalukku ethirkonnduvanthaarkal; avarkalaip pavul kanndu, thaevanai sthoththiriththuth thairiyamatainthaan. 16 Naangal romaapuriyil sernthapothu, noottaுkku athipathi than kaavalilirunthavarkalaich senaapathiyinidaththil oppukkoduththaan; appoluthu pavul thannaik kaaththirukkira sevakanudanae thaniththuk kutiyirukkumpati uththaravu pettaுkkonndaan. And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

22 Engum intha mathapaethaththukku virothamaayp paesukirathaaka naangal arinthirukkirapatiyaal, ithaikkuriththu unnutaiya apippiraayam ennaventu kaettariya virumpukirom entarkal. 23 Atharkaaka avarkal oru naalaikkuriththu, anaekampaer avan thangiyiruntha veettirku avanidaththil vanthaarkal. Avan kaalamae thodangi saayangaalamattum Mosesyin niyaayappiramaanaththilum theerkkatharisikalin aakamangalilum irunthu Yesuvukkaduththa viseshangalai avarkalukkup pothiththu, thaevanutaiya raajyaththaik kuriththuch saatchikoduththu visthariththup paesinaan. 27 Ivarkal kannkalinaal kaannaamalum, kaathukalinaal kaelaamalum, iruthayaththinaal unarnthu kunappadaamalum, naan ivarkalai aarokkiyamaakkaamalum irukkumpatikku, intha janaththin iruthayam koluththirukkirathu; kaathukalinaal manthamaayk kaettuth thangal kannkalai mootikkonndaarkal entu intha janaththinidaththil poych sollu enpathaip Parisuththa aavi aesaayaa theerkkatharisiyaikkonndu nammutaiya pithaakkaludanae nantaych solliyirukkiraar. 28 Aathalaal thaevanutaiya iratchippu purajaathiyaarukku anuppappattirukkirathentum, avarkal atharkuch sevikoduppaarkalentum ungalukkuth therinthirukkakkadavathu entan. Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

29 Ippati avan sonnapinpu, yootharkal thangalukkullae mikavum tharkkampannnnikkonndu, poyvittarkal. And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

30 Pinpu pavul thanakkaaka vaadakaikku vaangiyiruntha veettilae iranndu varushamuluthum thangi, thannidaththil vantha yaavaraiyum aettaுkkonndu, And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,

31 Mikuntha thairiyaththudanae thataiyillaamal, thaevanutaiya raajyaththaik kuriththup pirasangiththu, karththaraakiya YesuKristhuvaippattiya viseshangalai upathaesiththukkonntirunthaan. Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
