அதற்குக் கொர்நேலியு: நாலு நாளைக்கு முன்னே இந்நேரத்திலே நான் உபவாசித்து, ஒன்பதாம்மணி நேரத்தில் வீட்டிலே ஜெபம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்; அப்பொழுது பிரகாசமுள்ள வஸ்திரந்தரித்த ஒரு மனுஷன் ஒருவன் எனக்கு முன்பாக நின்று:

அதற்குக் கொர்நேலியு: நான்கு நாட்களுக்கு முன்னே இந்நேரத்திலே நான் உபவாசித்து, பிற்பகல் மூன்று மணியளவில் என் வீட்டிலே ஜெபம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்; அப்பொழுது வெண்மையான ஆடை அணிந்த மனிதன் ஒருவன் எனக்கு முன்பாக நின்று:

கொர்நேலியு, “நான்கு நாட்களுக்கு முன், என் வீட்டில் நான் பிரார்த்தனை செய்துகொண்டிருந்தேன். அது இதே வேளை பிற்பகல் மூன்று மணியாயிருந்தது. திடீரென ஒரு மனிதன் எனக்கு முன்பாக நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தான். அவன் ஒளிமிக்க பிரகாசமான ஆடைகளை அணிந்துகொண்டிருந்தான்.

அதற்கு கொர்னேலியு கூறியது: “மூன்று நாள்களுக்குமுன் இதே நேரத்தில், அதாவது பிற்பகல் மூன்று மணிக்கு என் வீட்டில் நான் இறைவனிடம் வேண்டிக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். அப்போது பளபளப்பான ஆடையணிந்த ஒருவர் என்முன் வந்து நின்றார்.
