கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து அந்நிய தேவர்களையும் அந்த விக்கிரகத்தையும் எடுத்துப்போட்டு, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயமுள்ள மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் தான் கட்டியிருந்த எல்லா பலிபீடங்களையும் அகற்றி, பட்டணத்திற்குப்புறம்பாகப் போடுவித்து,

மனாசே அந்நிய தெய்வங்களையும், விக்கிரகங்களையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் இருந்து வெளியே எடுத்தான். அவன் எருசலேமிலும், மலை நகரங்களிலும் அமைத்த பலிபீடங்களையும் நீக்கினான். அவன் இவை அனைத்தையும் எருசலேம் நகருக்கு வெளியே தூக்கி எறிந்தான்.

கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து அந்நிய தேவர்களையும் அந்த விக்கிரகத்தையும் எடுத்துப்போட்டு, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயமுள்ள மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் தான் கட்டியிருந்த எல்லா பலிபீடங்களையும் அகற்றி, பட்டணத்திற்குப்புறம்பாகப் போடுவித்து,

And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

And he took away וַ֠יָּסַר sûr soor
אֶת ʾēt ate
gods, אֱלֹהֵ֨י ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
the strange הַנֵּכָ֤ר nēkār nay-HAHR
וְאֶת ʾēt ate
and the idol הַסֶּ֙מֶל֙ semel seh-MEL
out of the house מִבֵּ֣ית bayit ba-YEET
of the Lord, יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
and all וְכָל kōl kole
the altars הַֽמִּזְבְּח֗וֹת mizbēaḥ meez-BAY-ak
that אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
he had built בָּנָ֛ה bānâ ba-NA
in the mount בְּהַ֥ר har hahr
of the house בֵּית bayit ba-YEET
of the Lord, יְהוָ֖ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
and in Jerusalem, וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yĕrûšālaim yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
and cast וַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ šālak sha-LAHK
