வழியோரத்திலிருக்கிற ஆட்டுத்தொழுவங்களிடத்தில் அவன் வந்தபோது, அங்கே ஒரு கெபி இருந்தது; அதிலே சவுல் மலஜலாதிக்குப் போனான்; தாவீதும் அவன் மனுஷரும் அந்தக் கெபியின் பக்கங்களில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள்.

சவுல் சாலையோரத்தில் இருந்த ஆட்டுத் தொழுவத்திற்கு வந்தான். அதன் அருகில் ஒரு குகை இருந்தது. சவுல் அதனுள்ளே தீட்டுக்கழிக்கச் சென்றான். அதன் பின் பகுதியில் தாவீதும் அவனது ஆட்களும் ஒளிந்திருந்தனர்.
