கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினபோது, அவர்களோடே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கை இருக்கிற பெட்டிக்காக அதிலே ஒரு ஸ்தானத்தை உண்டாக்கினேன் என்றான்.

கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்தபோது, அவர்களோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கை இருக்கிற பெட்டிக்காக அதிலே ஒரு இடத்தை உண்டாக்கினேன் என்றான்.

ஆலயத்திற்குள் பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டியை வைக்கவும் இடம் அமைத்துவிட்டேன். அப்பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டிக்குள் கர்த்தர் நமது முற்பிதாக்களோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கை இருக்கிறது. இந்த உடன்படிக்கையை அவர் நமது முற்பிதாக்களோடு எகிப்தை விட்டு வெளியே வந்ததும் செய்தார்” என்றான்.

the covenant בְּרִ֣ית bĕrît beh-REET
