அந்தத் தூண்களை தேவாலய வாசல் மண்டபத்தில் நிறுத்தினான்; அவன் வலது புறத்தில் நிறுத்தின தூணுக்கு யாகீன் என்றும், இடதுபுறத்தில் நிறுத்தின தூணுக்கு போவாஸ் என்றும் பேரிட்டான்.

ஈராம் இந்த இரு வெண்கலத்தூண்களையும் ஆலய வாசல் மண்டபத்தில் நிறுவினான். வாசலின் உட்புறத்தில் ஒன்றும் தென்புறத்தில் ஒன்றுமாகத் தூண்கள் நிறுத்தப்பட்டன. தெற்குத் தூண் யாகீன் என்றும் வடக்குத் தூண் போவாஸ் என்றும் பெயர் பெற்றன.

இவ்விரு தூண்களையும் தூயகத்தின் முன்மண்டபத்தின் முன் அவர் நாட்டினார். அவர் தென்புறம் நாட்டிய தூணுக்கு ‘யாக்கின்’ என்றும் வடபுறம் நாட்டிய தூணுக்குப் ‘போவாசு’ என்றும் பெயரிட்டார்.
