Proverbs 12:6

துன்மார்க்கரின் வார்த்தைகள் இரத்தஞ்சிந்தப் பதிவிருப்பதைப் பற்றியது; உத்தமர்களுடைய வாயோ அவர்களைத் தப்புவிக்கும்.

The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

Proverbs 12:14

அவனவன் தன் தன் வாயின் பலனால் திருப்தியடைவான்; அவனவன் கைக்கிரியையின் பலனுக்குத்தக்கதாக அவனவனுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்.

A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

Proverbs 12:18

பட்டயக்குத்துகள்போல் பேசுகிறவர்களும் உண்டு; ஞானமுள்ளவர்களுடைய நாவோ ஔஷதம்.

There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Proverbs 13:2

மனுஷன் தன் வாயின் பலனால் நன்மையைப் புசிப்பான்; துன்மார்க்கனின் ஆத்துமாவோ கொடுமையைப் புசிக்கும்.

A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.

Proverbs 15:4

ஆரோக்கியமுள்ள நாவு ஜீவவிருட்சம்; நாவின் மாறுபாடோ ஆவியை நொறுக்கும்.

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Proverbs 15:23

மனுஷனுக்குத் தன் வாய்மொழியினால் மகிழ்ச்சியுண்டாகும்; ஏற்ற காலத்தில் சொன்ன வார்த்தை எவ்வளவு நல்லது!

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

Proverbs 16:24

இனிய சொற்கள் தேன்கூடுபோல் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு மதுரமும், எலும்புகளுக்கு ஔஷதமுமாகும்.

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Proverbs 18:20

அவனவன் வாயின் பலனால் அவனவன் வயிறு நிரம்பும்; அவனவன் உதடுகளின் விளைவினால் அவனவன் திருப்தியாவான்.

A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Proverbs 18:21

மரணமும் ஜீவனும் நாவின் அதிகாரத்திலிருக்கும்; அதில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்கள் அதின் கனியைப் புசிப்பார்கள்.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள் ஒருவரோடொருவர் பேசிக்கொள்வார்கள்; கர்த்தர் கவனித்துக்கேட்பார்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்காகவும் அவருடைய நாமத்தைத் தியானிக்கிறவர்களுக்காகவும் ஞாபகப்புஸ்தகம் ஒன்று அவருக்கு முன்பாக எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Malachi 3:17

என் சம்பத்தை நான் சேர்க்கும் அந்நாளிலே அவர்கள் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; ஒரு மனுஷன் தனக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்கிற தன்னுடைய குமாரனைக் கடாட்சிக்கிறதுபோல நான் அவர்களைக் கடாட்சிப்பேன்.

And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
