God hates idols - தேவன் விக்கிரகங்களை வெறுக்கிறார்

Deuteronomy 16:21

நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு உண்டாக்கும் பலிபீடத்தண்டையில் யாதொரு தோப்பையும் உண்டாக்க வேண்டாம்;

Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

Deuteronomy 16:22

யாதொரு சிலையையும் நிறுத்தவேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அதை வெறுக்கிறார்.

Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.
