Proverbs 4 - DBY (Telugu)

1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know intelligence;కుమారులారా, తండ్రి యుపదేశము వినుడి మీరు వివేకమునొందునట్లు ఆలకించుడి

2 for I give you good doctrine: forsake ye not my law.నేను మీకు సదుపదేశము చేసెదను నా బోధను త్రోసివేయకుడి.

3 For I was a son unto my father, tender and an only one in the sight of my mother.నా తండ్రికి నేను కుమారుడుగా నుంటిని నా తల్లి దృష్టికి నేను సుకుమారుడనైన యేక కుమా రుడనైయుంటిని.

4 And he taught me, and said unto me, Let thy heart retain my words; keep my commandments and live.ఆయన నాకు బోధించుచు నాతో ఇట్లనెను నీ హృదయము పట్టుదలతో నా మాటలను పట్టు కొననిమ్ము నా ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొనినయెడల నీవు బ్రతుకుదువు.

5 Get wisdom, get intelligence: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.జ్ఞానము సంపాదించుకొనుము బుద్ధి సంపాదించు కొనుము నా నోటిమాటలను మరువకుము. వాటినుండి తొలగిపోకుము.

6 Forsake her not, and she shall keep thee; love her, and she shall preserve thee.జ్ఞానమును విడువక యుండినయెడల అది నిన్ను కాపాడును దాని ప్రేమించినయెడల అది నిన్ను రక్షించును.

7 The beginning of wisdom [is], Get wisdom; and with all thy getting get intelligence.జ్ఞానము సంపాదించుకొనుటయే జ్ఞానమునకు ముఖ్యాం శము. నీ సంపాదన అంతయు ఇచ్చి బుద్ధి సంపాదించు కొనుము.

8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee; she shall bring thee to honour when thou dost embrace her.దాని గొప్ప చేసినయెడల అది నిన్ను హెచ్చించును. దాని కౌగిలించినయెడల అది నీకు ఘనతను తెచ్చును.

9 She shall give to thy head a garland of grace; a crown of glory will she bestow upon thee.అది నీ తలకు అందమైన మాలిక కట్టును ప్రకాశమానమైన కిరీటమును నీకు దయచేయును.

10 Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, and the years of thy life shall be multiplied.నా కుమారుడా, నీవు ఆలకించి నా మాటల నంగీక రించినయెడల నీవు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడవగుదువు.

11 I will teach thee in the way of wisdom, I will lead thee in paths of uprightness.జ్ఞానమార్గమును నేను నీకు బోధించియున్నాను యథార్థమార్గములో నిన్ను నడిపించియున్నాను.

12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.నీవు నడచునప్పుడు నీ అడుగు ఇరుకున పడదు. నీవు పరుగెత్తునప్పుడు నీ పాదము తొట్రిల్లదు.

13 Take fast hold of instruction, let [her] not go: keep her, for she is thy life.ఉపదేశమును విడిచిపెట్టక దాని గట్టిగా పట్టు కొనుము అది నీకు జీవము గనుక దాని పొందియుండుము

14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil [men]:భక్తిహీనుల త్రోవను చేరకుము దుష్టుల మార్గమున నడువకుము.

15 avoid it, pass not by it; turn from it, and pass away.దానియందు ప్రవేశింపక తప్పించుకొని తిరుగుము. దానినుండి తొలగి సాగిపొమ్ము.

16 For they sleep not except they have done mischief, and their sleep is taken away unless they have caused [some] to fall.అట్టివారు కీడుచేయనిది నిద్రింపరు ఎదుటివారిని పడద్రోయనిది వారికి నిద్రరాదు.

17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.కీడుచేత దొరికినదానిని వారు భుజింతురు బలాత్కారముచేత దొరికిన ద్రాక్షారసమును త్రాగు దురు

18 But the path of the righteous is as the shining light, going on and brightening until the day be fully come.పట్టపగలగువరకు వేకువ వెలుగు తేజరిల్లునట్లు నీతిమంతుల మార్గము అంతకంతకు తేజరిల్లును,

19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.భక్తిహీనుల మార్గము గాఢాంధకారమయము తాము దేనిమీద పడునది వారికి తెలియదు.

20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.నా కుమారుడా, నా మాటలను ఆలకింపుము నా వాక్యములకు నీ చెవి యొగ్గుము.

21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thy heart.నీ కన్నుల యెదుటనుండి వాటిని తొలగిపోనియ్య కుము నీ హృదయమందు వాటిని భద్రముచేసికొనుము.

22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.దొరికినవారికి అవి జీవమును వారి సర్వశరీరమునకు ఆరోగ్యమును ఇచ్చును.

23 Keep thy heart more than anything that is guarded; for out of it are the issues of life.నీ హృదయములోనుండి జీవధారలు బయలుదేరును కాబట్టి అన్నిటికంటె ముఖ్యముగా నీ హృదయమును భద్రముగా కాపాడుకొనుము

24 Put away from thee perverseness of mouth, and corrupt lips put far from thee.మూర్ఖపు మాటలు నోటికి రానియ్యకుము పెదవులనుండి కుటిలమైన మాటలు రానియ్యకుము.

25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.నీ కన్నులు ఇటు అటు చూడక సరిగాను నీ కనురెప్పలు నీ ముందర సూటిగాను చూడవలెను.

26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be well-ordered.నీవు నడచు మార్గమును సరాళము చేయుము అప్పుడు నీ మార్గములన్నియు స్థిరములగును.

27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left; remove thy foot from evil.నీవు కుడితట్టుకైనను ఎడమతట్టుకైనను తిరుగకుము నీ పాదమును కీడునకు దూరముగా తొలగించు కొనుము.
