Proverbs 28 - ASV (Telugu)

1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion.ఎవడును తరుమకుండనే దుష్టుడు పారిపోవును నీతిమంతులు సింహమువలె ధైర్యముగా నుందురు.

2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; But by men of understanding `and' knowledge the state `thereof' shall be prolonged.దేశస్థుల దోషమువలన దాని అధికారులు అనేకు లగుదురు బుద్ధిజ్ఞానములు గలవారిచేత దాని అధికారము స్థిర పరచబడును.

3 A needy man that oppresseth the poor Is `like' a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.బీదలను బాధించు దరిద్రుడు ఆహారవస్తువులను ఉండనియ్యక కొట్టుకొనిపోవు వానతో సమానుడు.

4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked; But such as keep the law contend with them.ధర్మశాస్త్రమును త్రోసివేయువారు దుష్టులను పొగడు చుందురు ధర్మశాస్త్రము ననుసరించువారు వారితో పోరాడు దురు.

5 Evil men understand not justice; But they that seek Jehovah understand all things.దుష్టులు న్యాయమెట్టిదైనది గ్రహింపరు యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయించువారు సమస్తమును గ్రహిం చుదురు.

6 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, Than he that is perverse in `his' ways, though he be rich.వంచకుడై ధనము సంపాదించినవానికంటె యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించు దరిద్రుడు వాసి.

7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son; But he that is a companion of gluttons shameth his father.ఉపదేశము నంగీకరించు కుమారుడు బుద్ధిగలవాడు తుంటరుల సహవాసము చేయువాడు తన తండ్రికి అపకీర్తి తెచ్చును.

8 He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase, Gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor.వడ్డిచేతను దుర్లాభముచేతను ఆస్తి పెంచుకొనువాడు దరిద్రులను కరుణించువానికొరకు దాని కూడబెట్టును.

9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.ధర్మశాస్త్రమువినబడకుండ చెవిని తొలగించుకొనువాని ప్రార్థన హేయము.

10 Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, He shall fall himself into his own pit; But the perfect shall inherit good.యథార్థవంతులను దుర్మార్గమందు చొప్పించువాడు తాను త్రవ్విన గోతిలో తానే పడును యథార్థవంతులు మేలైనదానిని స్వతంత్రించుకొం దురు.

11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; But the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.ఐశ్వర్యవంతుడు తన దృష్టికి తానే జ్ఞాని వివేకముగల దరిద్రుడు వానిని పరిశోధించును.

12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.నీతిమంతులకు జయము కలుగుట మహాఘనతకు కార ణము దుష్టులు గొప్పవారగునప్పుడు జనులు దాగియుం దురు.

13 He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.అతిక్రమములను దాచిపెట్టువాడు వర్ధిల్లడు వాటిని ఒప్పుకొని విడిచిపెట్టువాడు కనికరము పొందును.

14 Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.నిత్యము భయముగలిగి ప్రవర్తించువాడు ధన్యుడు హృదయమును కఠినపరచుకొనువాడు కీడులో పడును.

15 `As' a roaring lion, and a ranging bear, `So is' a wicked ruler over a poor people.బొబ్బరించు సింహమును తిరుగులాడు ఎలుగుబంటియు దరిద్రులైన జనుల నేలు దుష్టుడును సమానములు.

16 The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor; `But' he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.వివేకములేనివాడవై జనులను అధికముగా బాధపెట్టు అధికారీ, దుర్లాభమును ద్వేషించువాడు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడగును.

17 A man that is laden with the blood of any person Shall flee unto the pit; let no man stay him.ప్రాణము తీసి దోషము కట్టుకొనినవాడు గోతికి పరుగెత్తుచున్నాడు ఎవరును అట్టివానిని ఆపకూడదు.

18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be delivered; But he that is perverse in `his' ways shall fall at once.యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించువాడు రక్షింపబడును మూర్ఖప్రవర్తన గలవాడు హఠాత్తుగా పడిపోవును.

19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread; But he that followeth after vain `persons' shall have poverty enough.తన పొలము సేద్యము చేసికొనువానికి కడుపునిండ న్నము దొరకును వ్యర్థమైనవాటిని అనుసరించువారికి కలుగు పేదరికము ఇంతంతకాదు.

20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings; But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished.నమ్మకమైనవానికి దీవెనలు మెండుగా కలుగును. ధనవంతుడగుటకు ఆతురపడువాడు శిక్షనొందక పోడు.

21 To have respect of persons is not good; Neither that a man should transgress for a piece of bread.పక్షపాతము చూపుట మంచిది కాదు రొట్టెముక్కకొరకు ఒకడు దోషముచేయును.

22 he that hath an evil eye hasteth after riches, And knoweth not that want shall come upon him.చెడు దృష్టిగలవాడు ఆస్తి సంపాదింప ఆతురపడును తనకు దరిద్రత వచ్చునని వానికి తెలియదు.

23 He that rebuketh a man shall afterward find more favor Than he that flattereth with the tongue.నాలుకతో ఇచ్చకములాడు వానికంటె నరులను గద్దించువాడు తుదకు ఎక్కువ దయపొం దును.

24 Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression, The same is the companion of a destroyer.తన తలిదండ్రుల సొమ్ము దోచుకొని అది ద్రోహముకాదనుకొనువాడు నశింపజేయువానికి జతకాడు.

25 He that is of a greedy spirit stirreth up strife; But he that putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be made fat.పేరాసగలవాడు కలహమును రేపును యెహోవాయందు నమ్మకముంచువాడు వర్ధిల్లును.

26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool; But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.తన మనస్సును నమ్ముకొనువాడు బుద్ధిహీనుడు జ్ఞానముగా ప్రవర్తించువాడు తప్పించుకొనును.

27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; But he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.బీదలకిచ్చువానికి లేమి కలుగదు కన్నులు మూసికొనువానికి బహు శాపములు కలు గును.

28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase.దుష్టులు గొప్పవారగునప్పుడు జనులు దాగుకొందురు వారు నశించునప్పుడు నీతిమంతులు ఎక్కువగుదురు.
