Proverbs 26 - DBY (Telugu)

1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour beseemeth not a fool.ఎండకాలమునకు మంచు గిట్టదు కోతకాలమునకు వర్షము గిట్టదు అటువలె బుద్ధిహీనునికి ఘనత గిట్టదు.

2 As the sparrow for flitting about, as the swallow for flying, so a curse undeserved shall not come.రెక్కలు కొట్టుకొనుచు తారాడుచున్న పిచ్చుకయు దాటుచుండు వానకోవెలయు దిగకుండునట్లు హేతువులేని శాపము తగులకపోవును.

3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the back of fools.గుఱ్ఱమునకు చబుకు గాడిదకు కళ్లెము మూర్ఖుల వీపునకు బెత్తము.

4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.వాని మూఢతచొప్పున మూర్ఖునికి ప్రత్యుత్తర మియ్య కుము ఇచ్చినయెడల నీవును వాని పోలియుందువు.

5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.వాని మూఢతచొప్పున మూర్ఖునికి ప్రత్యుత్తర మిమ్ము ఆలాగు చేయనియెడల వాడు తన దృష్టికి తాను జ్ఞానిననుకొనును.

6 He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off [his own] feet, [and] drinketh damage.మూర్ఖునిచేత వర్తమానము పంపువాడు కాళ్లు తెగగొట్టుకొని విషము త్రాగినవానితో సమా నుడు.

7 The legs of the lame hang loose; so is a proverb in the mouth of fools.కుంటివాని కాళ్లు పట్టులేక యున్నట్లు మూర్ఖుల నోట సామెత పాటి లేకుండును

8 As a bag of gems in a stoneheap, so is he that giveth honour to a fool.బుద్ధిహీనుని ఘనపరచువాడు వడిసెలలోని రాయి కదలకుండ కట్టువానితో సమానుడు.

9 [As] a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a proverb in the mouth of fools.మూర్ఖుల నోట సామెత మత్తునుగొనువాని చేతిలో ముల్లు గుచ్చుకొన్న ట్లుండును.

10 A master roughly worketh every one: he both hireth the fool and hireth passers-by.అధికముగా నొందినవాడు సమస్తము చేయవచ్చును మూర్ఖునివలన కలుగు లాభము నిలువదు కూలికి వానిని పిలిచినవాడును చెడిపోవును.

11 As a dog turneth back to its vomit, [so] a fool repeateth his folly.తన మూఢతను మరల కనుపరచు మూర్ఖుడు కక్కినదానికి తిరుగు కుక్కతో సమానుడు.

12 Hast thou seen a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope of a fool than of him.తన దృష్టికి జ్ఞానిననుకొనువానిని చూచితివా? వానిని గుణపరచుటకంటె మూర్ఖుని గుణపరచుట సుళువు.

13 The sluggard saith, There is a fierce lion in the way; a lion is in the midst of the streets!సోమరిదారిలో సింహమున్నదనును వీధిలో సింహ మున్నదనును.

14 [As] the door turneth upon its hinges, so the sluggard upon his bed.ఉతకమీద తలుపు తిరుగును తన పడకమీద సోమరి తిరుగును.

15 The sluggard burieth his hand in the dish: it wearieth him to bring it again to his mouth.సోమరి పాత్రలో తన చెయ్యి ముంచును నోటియొద్దకు దాని తిరిగి యెత్తుట కష్టమనుకొనును.

16 A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven [men] that answer discreetly.హేతువులు చూపగల యేడుగురికంటె సోమరి తన దృష్టికి తానే జ్ఞానిననుకొనును

17 He that passing by vexeth himself with strife belonging not to him, is [like] one that taketh a dog by the ears.తనకు పట్టని జగడమునుబట్టి రేగువాడు దాటిపోవుచున్న కుక్క చెవులు పట్టుకొనువానితో సమానుడు.

18 As a madman who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death,తెగులు అమ్ములు కొరవులు విసరు వెఱ్ఱివాడు

19 so is a man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am I not in sport?తన పొరుగువాని మోసపుచ్చి నేను నవ్వులాటకు చేసితినని పలుకువానితో సమానుడు.

20 Where no wood is, the fire goeth out; and where there is no talebearer, the contention ceaseth.కట్టెలు లేనియెడల అగ్ని ఆరిపోవును కొండెగాడు లేనియెడల జగడము చల్లారును.

21 [As] coals for hot coals, and wood for fire, so is a contentious man to inflame strife.వేడిబూడిదెకు బొగ్గులు అగ్నికి కట్టెలు కలహములు పుట్టించుటకు కలహప్రియుడు.

22 The words of a talebearer are as dainty morsels, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.కొండెగాని మాటలు రుచిగల పదార్థములవంటివి అవి లోకడుపులోనికి దిగిపోవును.

23 Ardent lips, and a wicked heart, are [as] an earthen vessel overlaid with silver dross.చెడు హృదయమును ప్రేమగల మాటలాడు పెద వులును కలిగియుండుట మంటి పెంకుమీది వెండి పూతతో సమానము.

24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, but he layeth up deceit within him:పగవాడు పెదవులతో మాయలు చేసి అంతరంగములో కపటము దాచుకొనును.

25 when his voice is gracious, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart.వాడు దయగా మాటలాడినప్పుడు వాని మాట నమ్మ కుము వాని హృదయములో ఏడు హేయవిషయములు కలవు.

26 Though [his] hatred is covered by dissimulation, his wickedness shall be made manifest in the congregation.వాడు తనద్వేషమును కపటవేషముచేత దాచుకొనును సమాజములో వాని చెడుతనము బయలుపరచబడును.

27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein; and he that rolleth a stone, it shall return upon him.గుంటను త్రవ్వువాడే దానిలో పడును రాతిని పొర్లించువానిమీదికి అది తిరిగి వచ్చును.

28 A lying tongue hateth those that are injured by it, and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.అబద్ధములాడువాడు తాను నలుగగొట్టినవారిని ద్వేషిం చును ఇచ్చకపు మాటలాడు నోరు నష్టము కలుగజేయును.
