“‘ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਝੂਠਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਰਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ!’ “ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਆਮੀਨ!’

Cursed אָר֣וּר ʾārar ah-RAHR
the man הָאִ֡ישׁ ʾîš eesh
that אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
maketh יַֽעֲשֶׂה֩ ʿāśâ ah-SA
graven פֶ֨סֶל pesel peh-SEL
or molten image, וּמַסֵּכָ֜ה massēkâ ma-say-HA
an abomination תּֽוֹעֲבַ֣ת tôʿēba toh-ay-VA
unto the Lord, יְהוָ֗ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
the work מַֽעֲשֵׂ֛ה maʿăśe ma-uh-SEH
of the hands יְדֵ֥י yād yahd
of the craftsman, חָרָ֖שׁ ḥāroš ha-ROHSH
and putteth וְשָׂ֣ם śûm soom
in secret בַּסָּ֑תֶר sēter say-TER
shall answer וְעָנ֧וּ ʿānâ ah-NA
And all כָל kōl kole
the people הָעָ֛ם ʿam am
and say, וְאָֽמְר֖וּ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Amen. אָמֵֽן׃ ʾāmēn ah-MANE
