26 கையடித்து உடன்பட்டு, கடனுக்காகப் பிணைப்படுகிறவர்களில் ஒருவனாகாதே. Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.

27 செலுத்த உனக்கு ஒன்றுமில்லாதிருந்தால், நீ படுத்திருக்கும் படுக்கையையும் அவன் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதாகுமே. If thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take away thy bed from under thee?

26 Kaiyatiththu udanpattu, kadanukkaakap pinnaippadukiravarkalil oruvanaakaathae. Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.

27 Seluththa unakku ontumillaathirunthaal, nee paduththirukkum padukkaiyaiyum avan eduththukkollavaenntiyathaakumae. If thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take away thy bed from under thee?
